I just rescued a beautiful little scottie girl that I guess you could say came from a puppy mill situation. The breeder is only breeding for money and bred this little girl way too young and as a result she had to have an emergency C-section so the breeder was throwing her away to breed schnauzers instead. How can you not love these wonderful creatures of love that ask nothing of us but to love and care for them and in return they love us back unconditionally.
I rescue English Bulldogs, and have seen the torture my breed of choice go through. Puppy Mills need to be shut down!!! Please let our plea be heard, Oprah!!!! The rest of the people of this country and the world need to know the plight of our fur angels!!
Oprah, please take a stand and help us rescuers. Each and every animal deserves a right to a loving, responsible home.Please, stand up for the rights of the unspeakable.
Please make the public aware by buying at pet stores they are encouraging and supporting this "business". As you well know, there are already TOO many homeless pets!!
Oprah, I know you too, are a dog lover, and I would imagine that they are very important to you. Pls. help other dogs just like the ones in your family, by exposing the puppy mill issue and also in educating people to the problem of pet overpopulation (and the solution - targeted spay/neuter!).
I know that you love your pets. I was brought to tears the day you gave one of your Golden Retriever puppies to a young child who lost their pet in a house fire, may God continue to shine down on you. You deserve it.
I implore you to use your popularity, for so many look up to you.
Take it into consideration that these animals are put through horrendous conditions so as someone may gain a profit from the sales of mans best friend.
Dogs have been an important resource to our society, for without them we could not see,our police rely on them to serve and protect,they help paraplegics live,among coutless of other activities they do.
Their pay they ask for is only a pat on the head and meals.
Lets stand united for our creatures and shake a paw!!!
Don't forget to inform the people that these ARE the puppies bought from PET STORES and if they keep spending money in those stores for those aniamals they will keep being reproduced. Thank You
I have a rescue doxie that breeders were through with & dropped her off @ the pound to be euthanized. These little canines are God's little creatures & these places need to be SHUT DOWN NOW! Please help us Oprah,God Bless You.
As I'm sure you are already aware of the fact that you are indeed a very Powerful women in todays sociaty. You have the means to bring this to puplic awareness and to help us put a stop to the nonsense and the horror that these precious animals face. Please consider the matter for a (near) future show.
Treating these generous, loving, living beings as a commodity is a disgrace to humanity. I question how we, with superior intelligence, could do this to other living beings. Please help those who only live to please, love and trust us.
Oprah, please help stop these people, getting rich at the expense of lives of innocent animals. They have had a free reign for so long, it must come to a stop! AKC (American Kennel Club) doesn't seem to want to step in, in fact, seems to turn a blind eye to these places. A lot of people who wind up buying these little guys from shops that deal with the puppy mills, don't seem to realize the type of place they come from. Most times the puppies are sick and then lost, soon after the individual purchases them. The seller or puppy mill doesn't seem to care about this, they just keep on replacing them. They have so many, it's no money out of their pocket. Please make your viewing audience aware of what is going on, and don't buy from a Pet Shop! All they carry are puppy mill products. There are so many reputable breeders in all areas of the states where healthy puppies can be found. Think of all the heart ache people will be spared if they go to a breeder.

Dogs should not be reproduced just to end up not wanted. We have many children as well as dogs that end up this way. It's sad that both many times end up with out a home.
As a mama to five puppers who lived the first part of their lives in puppy mills, I know the life these little ones have. Some never lead a normal life and have died in my arms. This is an area of education that is so important in the companion animal area. Please help us fight the horror or puppy mills

I just recently lost my beloved Daisy Dawg to spleen cancer...We had her for 13 Wonderful years & we loved her very much & miss her very much...anyone that could be cruel to an animal doesn't deserve to get the love from one...STOP THE PUPPY MILLS
Your Voice can help expose this problem and spread the word in a way that no one else can - Please take a stand and help us educate the public and close these places down.
Please bring to the public the horrors of a mill animals existence. I can't call it a life because they don't have one. I rescue Boston Terriers and have a former mill mother in foster now. It's been heart breaking and now joyful watching her go from a pitiful shell to a lively little love who will make a wonderful companion. People listen to you I know your an animal lover that makes your bringing this to the public even more special and important.

I have faith that you will do the right thing and expose these people for the thieves that they are. Not only do they rob the dogs of the promise of a good life with an owner that loves them, but also the families that get the sick puppies also loose out. I have 2 dogs, soon to have 4, 7 cats, and 7 goofy fish. All are well fed and taken care of. 5 of the seven cats were strays, and the dogs were going to be put to sleep.Animals have basically no rights, so the courts will not interfere. The public, if they knew would stop buying these animals, and shut down their business. You have the power to do this. Please help!!
There are so many abandoned and abused pets! It is unnecessary to breed - especially in a puppy mill! So many wonderful animals are killed in "shelters". All shelters should be no kill - this will have even more animals available for adoption. NO PUPPY MILLS! - WE WANT NO KILL SHELTERS IN AMERICA! WE WANT ADOPTIONS! NO PUPPY MILLS!
Please consider what happens to these poor dogs. Oprah you have dogs of your own you would not want them to go thru the terrible life these poor dogs go thru. Please speak out you are very amazing how you have influence on our society today. And anyone who knows anything about you knows you are a dog lover.
