I think that puppy mills is a horrible thing. Its just as bad as abusing them. no animals deserve to be locked up, and forced to breed, and maybe even beaten. It a horrible and sad thing. Lets make a difference, and stop them all.
Please stop the mills, they breed sick, genetically defective dogs. They don't even give them the minimum degree of care. Oprah just look into those eyes in those gages and you will see pain and suffering, show the world what it's like for them. There are so many causes out there and many may think it's just a dog but if we can't treat our animals humanely then what does that say about us as a nation.
Oprah, for years you have spoken out for the underdog (pun intended) and victims of cruelty and abuse. Please take this time to use your vast resources to stop this national tragedy.
One third of our rescues are puppies bought from Pet Stores by the unsuspecting public! They pay an extremely high price and the dogs have health problems! Please help us help these defensless dogs.
Oprah, If you do even a little research on this topic I think you'll be compelled to dedicate an episode to puppy mills. Please help us to educate the puplic.

If anyone can bring the story of the miserable existance dogs & puppys live through in puppy mills it will be YOU! Please focus on this & let the people in this country know where most of the puppies sold in pet stores & shops come from & of the terrible, horrid conditions of these mills. Most people who buy puppies from pet stores or from classified ads in the paper don't realize that they are continuing the pain, lonliness and fear of the dogs that bred them.
Please, Oprah help to educate the millions of people that watch your show about the horror of puppy mills so that people stop purchasing dogs from pet stores and the puppy mill business can be shut down.
Just imagine if one of your beloved dogs was kept in a wire bottom cage with no protection from the elements, no heat or air conditioning or blankets or comfy beds to sleep on. Some of these dogs are debarked (vocal chords cut). I ache for the dogs that are left to suffer this way year after year.
Please help them.
I believe ou can make a huge difference in opening the rest of the country / world to the horrors of these puppy mills. Innocent people end up with animals from these places through pet stores and even people who call themselves breeders..only to find after buying the animal that it is very sick..at times needing to be euthanized. They need your help!!

This issue has needed to be brought to the attention of the people that don't know about this. Everyone needs to see what these little mama dogs have to go through. It is awful and breaks my heart. Please help them. Lets all stick together and stop this.

Oprah you reach so many people everyday. Please expose the puppy mills for what they are. Missouri has been known as the puppy mill capital. It is a horrible life for these animals, and they have no voice.
Puppy stores should be illegal, then there wouldn't be a need for puppy stores. Please help educate the public about this issue. You are such an advocate for those who can't advocate for themselves, please help us stop this kind of animal abuse.

Oprah, I hope you will find it in your heart to help these animals who can not help themselves. Many of these puppy mill puppies end up in shelters when they are less than ideal for their breed as is often the case. Not to mention the horrid conditions the breeding dogs go through. Most of whom will spend their entire life in a cage that may not even be large enough for them to turn around with no human contact. Thank you in advance.
