Please, please educate everyone to where those beautiful little faces come from and what they have endured during their short lives in these mills - IF they're lucky enough to survive and be adopted!
I know some people who run a puppy mill. They are nice people who adhere to USDA regulations but the breeding dogs have no quality of life and the puppies have little human contact. I like these people but they need to be put out of business. They shouldn't be making money off dogs' suffering.
Please help to educate the public about this horrible practice that is so common. We must have someone who is respected and has the ability to make "the powers that be" take notice. Please help stop this ABUSE of defenseless animals.

As someone who loves animals and have several dogs yourself, you can understand how Puppy Mills affects the animal population and health. Not to mention the heartbreak and financial strain of people who get these unhealthy dogs.

Please help educate the public on the importance of getting a good sound puppy from a reliable breeder and NOT from pet shops (which buy from puppymills) and are poor examples of the breed.
Oprah, Look into their trusting eyes and reflect on their loyalty, then tell me you don't care. They are at the mercy of cruel people and they have no choice. Help them please.

My puppymill rescue just dicovered his tail last night. He could have spent the rest of his life in a puppymill, never to experience this simple joy. Please don't let other dogs end up this way. It is heartbreaking.
I, unfortunatlly, bought my first Great Dane from a "puppy mill". This poor puppy never should have hit the whelping box. He had too many health issues to list here. I finally put him out of his suffering at 5 years of age.
Puppy mills are absolutely horrific!! I live in the state of Missouri and this state is one of the worst for puppy mills. If I had my way all the people who run puppy mills should be behind bars!!! The animals have no voice and we have to speak up for them!!!
Oprah: You have shed light on so many worthy causes. Please do a show on puppy mills. They are a disgrace. People who know nothing about the care of dogs breed them unrelentingly for no other reason than greed. Please do a show!!!
The puppies I know that have come from puppy mills have had many behaviour problems from not being socialized correctly and being maltreated. Abuse of any animal is disgusting and abhorrent, but it will continue as long as it is accepted in this industry.
Oprah, as a fellow doglover who can reach millions of tv viewers, please expose the atrocities of puppy mills. We have to be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.

I believe that many people will be exposed to the major suffering that these dogs and puppies go through. You have the voice and you could help be their voice.
I am a nurse and feel that I can help humanity by my ability to care for my patients, and you can also with your ability to help these suffering dogs.

Dear Oprah, Please help people resist the allure of pet shop puppies...help them understand the vicious cycle they are helping to perpetuate. "Man's best friend" deserves more from us!
Please help inform the public regarding the inhumane treatment of dogs at puppy mills. I know that it was not God's plan for mans best friend needs to be treated this way.
We need to stop the horrible abuse and neglect!! It's a disgrace to treat innocent, helpless animals this way. They are 100% dependant on us to survive. They are defenseless against this horror.

I have a 6.5 year old rescued Great Dane that I believe was the product of a puppy mill (purchased from a pet store in Montreal Canada) She is in bad shape for a 6 year old. This is definitely not fair to allow these places to stay in business by putting our furry friends through such trauma. Please try to stop this madness.
This is a huge problem that very few people know about! People do not want to believe that puppymills even exsist. Please do a show to help get the puppymill owners out of business
Only graffic public awareness of the situation AND information on reasonable, affordable and available options for the purchase of pets will stop this.
