I would also add that we have to add more voting machines, especially in largely minority precincts that have a larger proportion of hourly, lower income voters who can't afford to take hours off from work inorder to vote. It is a travesty to American democracy that ultimately serves to disenfranchise voters, intentionally or not!
If we allow the results of two presidential elections in a row to remain in question, it will weaken our democracy and our standing in the world. Recount, recount, and recount until the sun shines on this election!
This counrty has seen and still continues to see a great many struggles to give people the right to vote. It does not seem American or display a good representation of this state or our country for that matter if you didn't count every vote.
Given the hypervote in Franklin Co. and the problems in Cuyahoga and around Youngstown, I say "Count the votes!"
Drop the computer chad-makers... you can't even see if your vote was registered.
Please Recount the Votes in Ohio. THIS IS AMERICA. How can something like this go without contest. The voting machines were defective and I DEMAND MY RIGHTS AS A U.S. CITIZEN TO HAVE MY VOTE COUNT.
Bush did not win Ohio. His friends here cheated for him, right Mr. Secretary of State. You said all along Bush was going to win Ohio, y'all made sure of that!
ALL of the votes should be counted. Many people stood in line for a very long time to cast those provisional ballots - let's make sure the peoples' voices are heard!
All Ohioans should have the same expectations in our elections as our Gov't has in Irag and Afghanistan. EVERY vote should be counted. Even the dead ones the Dems registered. Oh, yeah, don't forget felons.
Recount Now! Serial Shooter and now this? Mr Blackwell, please set an example for your fellow people in Ohio and make this right. As this stands now, I am not proud to be an American nor Ohio native. How can you sleep at night knowing those you represent are trying to speak and cannot be heard?
Count all the votes, for the good of the country and for all of those first time voters who have vowed to never vote again because they think their votes didn't count!
