This is a disgrace Mr. Blackwell. We are not stupid. We Ohioans know what you and the Republican Party have pulled and it is disgusting. We are not going to stand for this. Do something about it NOW.
It would be good for both major parties if you double-check the vote count. If it turns out you were mistaken, this will correct the mistake and make things fair. If it turns out you were right, it will eliminate doubts hanging over our president. Thanks. Kathy Sherwood, Palatka, FL
The "greatest democracy in the world" should have the greatest accuracy in its elections. Recount all ballots. Re-vote in ANY and ALL precincts where there IS NO paper trail. Anything short is a slap in the face of our founding fathers.
Counting every vote and counting them accurately is not childish, immature, or being a "poor loser". It is protecting the integrity of the democracy that this nation holds dear and wishes to spread.
Free elections are one of the main pillars of the US democracy.
With lost of confidence to the correct counting the votes, we lost the trust to the government.
It is essential to hear all the voices out there that made a choice on election day... amidst all the voter fraud- the only just thing to attempt is a recount including all of the spoiled and provisional ballots.
With errors in voting machiens with have two to three thousands votes for Bush already on them is a travisty and voter fraud beyond anything that has been propriateded ever. there needs to be a revote using a pecile and paper balot to have a true count.
As an election judge this year I know the extent to which I, and my fellow judges of both parties, went to ensure that each person was in the right precinct so their vote would count. The same care that went into the effort on election day should be carried through now so that every valid vote is counted!
It is shame that the Secretary of State who happens to be also a republican is the chief election officer and apparently made all the rulings in favor of the republicans. No advance country will allow this to happen. For best results we must change the system.
