I support this petition. But, while you're waiting for real Palm version of Opera Browser, why don't you try the Opera Mini Browser? it's now available for Palm OS also. I have tried it, in my Treo 650 CDMA, working smoothly & perfectly in Mobile-8 network in Indonesia.
Palmos really needs a good browser that can be obtained seperately from the device and will be updated rather than being stuck with the same old browser included with the handheld which doesn't work for many sites.
Palm, until recently have always been the market leader, it is distressing to see them neglecting key markets such as this. I love palm, but now I fear for them as the Redmond is hot on their tail, and m$ will benefit greatly from Palm's negelect of mobile internet.
Opera would solve all our internet problems, it should be bundled, most end-users just buy these gadgets and neglect to explore much other software. Out of the box the palm should have more Wow Factor, although hardcore users buy palms for the rediculous amount of free software on the net, most users don't explore this PALM: CONTENT DOWNLOADS = FREE MONEY
I have the Sony Clié UX50 and like its connectivity. Unfortunately there exists no good browser. I love Opera and would pay for it, it I could use it on PalmOS.
I support this petition. The lack of decent web browser is making the palm tungsten C device almost useless. If opera makes a browser, I am willing to pay for it to get more out of the palm.
