I have a LifeDrive and Blazer is fine for basic websites, but most sites I use are't supported by the browser or just become unreadable...
Please Opera!
Yip - Palm should never have asked Opera to code their browser for the Foleo, but rather for Palm OS5!!! Then we could\'ve had Opera last year already!
Yes I support this! Opera rocks and Palm...well, Palm used to rock and it's still better than Windows Mobile, in my opinion. You know how the guys at Wired said Microsoft should promote a killer-app for Vista, rather than promoting its Mac OS X clone interface? Well, I say Palm should do that too, with Opera as the killer app!
I have been using Opera since version 3 and registered it back in the days before it became free, and it is one of the first things I install on any computer I work on. I have been using Palm PDAs since the Palm V, and am now on my 5th (a TX).Being able to use Opera on Palm would finally make it genuinely useful as a web platform - right now, my phone is the better choice, simply because it can run Opera mini!
Yes, it's definitely time for a good, maintained browser for Palm OS. Although Blazer is not bad, its capabilites are limited, and moreover, as it's maintained poorly, it's just a matter of time when it's outdated.
Palm/Verizon Treo 650 please consider this petition. . . it would be a very good choice for Opera and give you additional deserved exposue to many loyal users.
I want to have te Opera browser for Palm OS, because that is the best browser, how I know. I´ve a LifeDrive manager but doesn´t like me tha default browser
opera is realy great browser. and supporting a lot of hardware and software plarforms is one of it's main benefits! a lot of people would be thanksful if saw opera on their PalmOS based handhelds
Since one of the ideas is to split strings not into words, but hopefully into phrases more semantically informative than the words they are made of, doing that better should mean better suggestions, and avoiding what essentially are word n-tuples should make for smaller data and slightly faster querying.
