In these days and times it is good to remember that there have always been days and times like these. Yet we must not mistake this truth for the more obvious: revolution is upon us again and it has come out of necessity. As my ancestors, forefathers AND mothers, sacrificed their social order so shall I, to make sure my children and all the generations of humankind have a beacon and a model of freedom that we call America, and truly mean The New World. In the words of wiser men than I, please allow yourself to read this statement, as I reiterate:

We hold these truths to be self-evident [and truth to be evident unto itself], that all men are created equal [as per our understanding of Creation], that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men [Women, and their offspring], deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever ANY Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute a New Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence [via reason, logic and rationality], indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that [hu-]mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under Absolute Despotism, it is their right, IT IS THEIR DUTY, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. — Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies [now these States]; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. ~ The Declaration of Independence 1776

Now, the reader should not mistake this emphasized reiteration as the suggestion of a Completely New Government, on the other hand, the reader shall KNOW, from their own understanding and experiences with Our Present Government that changes to our system our long overdue. More still, suggestions are welcome in this petition. What is not welcome is an argument, as there is nothing left to argue about. As it is, we live in a time of denial and desperate ignorance; an ignorance that is full of hope that OUR present Form and System of Government will change on its own. A denial and desperate ignorance that has led to delusional thinking, not the least of which I have adopted personally and professed to others accidentally. Some of these delusions are as follows: 1. Monopolies are OK, as long as they are regulated and controlled, as they are a natural progression of a Capitalist Market; but this is not true, as Monopolies are, by definition and function, the opposite of Capitalism; which is the promotion of competition and consumer advocacy. 2. Educational Systems shall be managed by Federal, State and Local Government Systems; where as of late it can be declared that critical thinking has all but disappeared from the curriculum of Public Schools, and what has taken it’s place is superficial, not to mention biased, knowledge [least we forget the Marxist notion where to control the people you control their education]. 3. Representatives of the districts, states, municipalities, etc., work for the best interests of their Constituents, Voters, or the American People in general; where as of late OUR Representatives have been involved in illegal activities with corporate and private-interest groups, have perpetuated corruption and scandal, misappropriated funds, selfishly handled expenditures, and acquired their positions via voter fraud, to name a few. 4. Corporate entities, in affiliation and unison with Governmental Intelligence Agencies and agencies of Secret Societies have not been involved in terrorist activities leading to the escalation of the Vietnam War, Oklahoma City bombing, the initial World Trade Center bombing, the later destruction of the World Trade Center Building # 7 and Twin Towers, explosion at the Pentagon and Shanksville, etc.; where as evidence, true scientific enquiry, and understanding of the means, motive, and competency of the publicly accused individuals or groups gives credence to alternative explanations. In other words, to believe that Monopolies are not detrimental to Capitalism, that the Educational System is not detrimental to Society, that our Representatives are actually a Voice and Agent of the American People, not to forget that OUR Representatives, from the President down, are not conspiring against us for their own personal, financial and societal interest is asinine, absurd and a delusion of grandeur; resulting from denial and desperate ignorance, in hope that the contrary is or will become true.

For all these reasons and more I retain my vote when presented with the opportunity. Without a known candidate, of appropriate credentials and experience, that is an advocate and activist for the best interests of the people he or she represents, my vote will remain of no-confidence in regard to OUR entire present System of Government. For the rest of you, my friends and fellow Americans, I leave you with these words from Thomas Paine:

Here then is the origin and rise of government; namely, a mode rendered necessary by the inability of moral virtue to govern the world; here too is the design and end of government, viz. Freedom and Security. And however our eyes may be dazzled with show, or our ears deceived by sound; however prejudice may warp our wills, or interest darken our understanding, the simple voice of nature and of reason will say, ‘tis right. ~ Common Sense, 1776, pgs. 5-6

It is time to fulfill our destiny, as people of the greatest nation ever conceived by humankind: to be a beacon of freedom and model for the entire world. Freedom is Free, it was promised to each and every one of us by our Creator, now we are responsible for protecting freedom for the rest of the generations of humankind. How could we say to our children “that’s just the way life is, it’s not fair,” if we had the chance to make life fair, just and true, but did nothing. I choose to do something, I choose to be free and freely change the way life is. It is your time, it is our time….It is OUR COUNTRY!
