Even though the decisions they make might not seem fair now, in the future you'll thank them for it. Don't do it. If your parents let you do this then they are not being good parents. You can do what you like when your 18 and living away from home, at least then they won't be as embarrassed. If they let you do it now then they are in a sense approving of the action and people will look badly at them as parents. I won't even let my daughter get her ears pierced once until she is 12. When I see babies with pierced ears, I think: "redneck parents". When I see kids with more than one piercing and blue hair or tatoos, I walk on the other side of the street. Fads die out and then you'll be left with something you will regret.
Tell them that you are alowed to get a tatoo at 16, so they don't have a choice really. It's your body, and you will do what you want with it. Trust me, it worked for me.

If you're like, 16, you should be able to dye your hair, but I'm not sure about piercings. Seriously, there are better ways to express yourselves rather than try to dye your hair so that you can look skanky. Your parents should disown you, you stupid little skanks.
