I've had plenty of dogs in my time. From very small miniatures to the
Staffordshire Pull Terrier that I have now. The ONLY problems that I have
with him is that he's deathly afraid of taking a bath for some reason and
he loves to sleep on my bed! I've had my baby cousins come over and tug on
his tail, ears, poke at him when he's sleeping (after trying so hard to
stop this) and not once has he done anything to them. He simply gets up and
moves to a different part of the house. Sure, it's easy to use the
"eventually all pit bulls snap..." but this is true for any dog,
so it's not an excuse. Pit bulls are only as bad as you raise them. If you
load a gun and pull the trigger, it's going to shoot! If you put the lock
on it and be responsible, no one gets hurt. |

Nation wide, save pitbulls. This is Provo, Utah stating right now that they
are trying to take our rights away. They are ignorant, scared people
because they are IGNORANT! They do not understand that a dog is a dog. A
dog is only as good as it's owner. A dalmation is ten times more likely to
bite than a pitbull. I'm sick of of people ruining the name of PITBULL
because they aren't responsible enough to raise a member of the family.
Any breed of dog that sleeps at the foot of your bed and protects your
family is part of the family. |

I recently adopted a pit bull/rat terrier mix and couldn't be happier with
him! He is the sweetest, best mannered and most obedient dog I could have
hoped for. I think it is absurd to ban an entire breed of dog based on the
ignorance of humans who exploit their dog's loyalty. GREAT OWNERS = GREAT

its horrible. I dog sit and i watch a pit bulls who is so sweet. FOX has
definitly got their story wrong. |

Pitbulls are not inherently mean. Like many other breeds, they require the
proper establishment of leadership.People who are not educated in the
skills required to own a pitbull should not have a pitbull. To unfairly
punish a breed of dog base solely based on the fact that people are not
educated is wrong. People are at fault here, not the breed of dog, we are
supposed to tbe the more educated of the species. Let's own our actions

This is a petition to get FOX News to do a segment on the truth about pitbulls. How they are not naturally aggressive and how with the proper respectful owners that make greta pets for children and families. It's time we as respectful owners and breeders show the public the truth about these dogs instead of hiding behind the lies and being too scared to say anything in case Pits get banned in our area. Hiding isnt saving these dogs. Waiting untill there is a policy in place to ban the dogs is too late. We need to pull together now to help this breed of dog we all love so much.
