6 Nov 2004 - 5:13    Rosemary Vazquez : PUNISH THE DEED, NOT THE BREED!!!!
6 Nov 2004 - 5:13    Maribel García : The Pit Bull is by far the best dog I've ever owned. People need to be made aware that not all Pit Bulls are alike, just like people. Some are brought up differently and take different paths. The environment they are brought up in and the socialization they receive is very important. We must do what we can to educate the public on the reality of Pit Bulls.
6 Nov 2004 - 5:13    Denise Sellers : PUNISH THE DEED NOT THE BREED! Its a saying thats repeated hundreds of times in the APBT comunity. Too bad theres not more people in the world willing to listen. The breed as a whole is getting a bad reputation because of poorly bred,un-regestered dogs. that are being treated badly. We as loving responsable owners need to stand together and work to make the breed what it deserves to be. These dogs are NOT naturally human agressive. Its bad people that make bad dogs.If more people would stand up and fight for the breed instead of turning their heads something could be done!I live in a home with 12 pitbulls,a YORKIE, and 3 kids....
6 Nov 2004 - 5:21    Yulianna Arriaga : Well I have been a APBT owner for about 11 yrs now and my mother bought me my first pair of APBTS...This breed has been the best breed that I have ever owned my childern have been around them thier whole lives and not ever have any of my dogs growled or even snapped at my kids when they are constantly pulling at thier ears and roughing around the house with them...Dont judge a book by its cover and dont let one rotten apple ruin it for the rest...PUNISH THE DEED NOT THE BREED!!! We need to work together and get out all the positive sides of the ABPTS...
6 Nov 2004 - 5:26    tracey : pitbulls are a family pet, they are trust worthy and faithfull.they are not the ones that give the bad reputation it is the owners that give it to them!!!
6 Nov 2004 - 5:32    Megan Maddison :
6 Nov 2004 - 5:33    minor : punish the deed not the breed!!!this breed is excellent.they are faithfull, dependable, and a family pet, they love everyone,it is not their fault there are sickos in the world that train or make them do things, but on that note any dog can do those things..you always here about pitts never about any other breed out there,my son got bit by a weimauaner, thats what that dog was trained to do,did you hear about that,a coarse not why...because it was not a pitt, and most important you ban the pitts what dog will it be next that people sick people will put to fight.in order to stop it is to stop the people not punish the dog.
6 Nov 2004 - 5:49    Nhan : I have been raising Pit Bull my whole life. They are very warm and loving breed. To lable the breed as vicious and furious man eating animals is wrong. Do not judge the entire breed because a few bad apples. The breed are warm loving animal that only wants to please his or her master. The responiblity of the up bringining of the dog lays in the dog owner and dog owners only. So if you are going to blame someone blame the irresponible owner who should have never being given the right to owned such a loyal breed of dogs.
6 Nov 2004 - 5:55    Mr. Dauen : I have been raising Pitbulls all my life, I breed and sell many Pitbulls from BPC Kennels and as many Pits I have seen I am yet to find one that is Violent its all about how you raise them. I put all my dogs through training classes and everyone has been a sucess.
6 Nov 2004 - 5:56    Jackie Vargas : The pitbull breed are very nice dogs just like any other breed its the way you train your dog, dont blame the breed blame the owner.
6 Nov 2004 - 6:01    B'yani Salcedo :
6 Nov 2004 - 6:05    M. Godsey : Any true journalist will search for the truth behind an issue as opposed to taking a slanted view on a subject. Fox would do well to present a positive side of a very controvesial subject. Consider this subject a chance to present a fresh light on a hot subject.
6 Nov 2004 - 6:15    Erin Long-Scott : I think with any animal if they have wrong owners then they can be raised mean. Pitbulls are like any dog. They have gotten a bad rap because of stupid people. I have been raised with pitbulls and I have owned them as an adult. They are sweet natured and happy dogs. It is not the animals fault that people turn them mean....
6 Nov 2004 - 6:31    Jennifer Clackum : I think that the media needs to repair the damage that they have caused this wonderful breed. I have never in the last 10 yrs of owning them have a problem. They need to educate the public. The media is the one that created the monster and now they should be responsible for helping it. There are many great Pit Bulls that do not get the recognition they deserve, there are drug dogs, search and rescue dogs and therapy dogs whose jobs are in danger due to breed specific legislation. I am so tired of hearing "how could you own one of those dogs with your son?" The fact is that I would rather have my son around my pit bulls than any other dog. It is time to punish the irrisponsible owners and not the dogs! Punish the deed, not the breed!
6 Nov 2004 - 6:35    Mike gallo :
6 Nov 2004 - 6:56    Elycia Wildman :
6 Nov 2004 - 6:57    Brian Petrone :
6 Nov 2004 - 7:04    Shawn Morrison :
6 Nov 2004 - 7:04    Michele Holleman : It would be so refreshing to see some "good" news on The American Pitbull Terrier in the media for once. We have owned this breed for well over a decade and are saddened to see the misinformation out there in the media. It would be nice if FOX TV could be the first to actually show the positive image of the pitbull, the true nature of well bred dogs in responsible homes.Instead of "profiling"the breed. Unfortunately there are people out there who own this breed and have no business doing so, it would be great to allow the public to see something other than that for once.
6 Nov 2004 - 7:05    Wendy Noble :
6 Nov 2004 - 7:17    Dave Beckford : People are so misled on these dogs it's sad. I hope some day they get the respect they truly deserve.
6 Nov 2004 - 7:26    RAYMOND RODRIGUEZ : PLEASE OPEN THE PUBLICS EYE ON PITBULLS AND HELP THE BREED START A NEW POSITIVE LIGHT NOT A DARK NEGATIVE ONE THAT WE HAVE BEEN CARRYING THROUGHOUT THE YEARS
6 Nov 2004 - 7:30    steve serna :
6 Nov 2004 - 7:30    Robert Johnson : Like the punish the deed no the breed. Somebody made that quote for a reason. So people should wake up and here the truth and not believe what they here.
6 Nov 2004 - 7:31    Jennifer : my girl is show dog, very gentel, a canine good citizen award holder, wonderful with children and all animals, we need someone to talk about the good on the news not the bad
6 Nov 2004 - 7:32    Pits State University - Jewelle Jackson :
6 Nov 2004 - 7:33    Rebecca De Luna : Come to my house! You will see 3 of the best, most loving APBT's around.
6 Nov 2004 - 7:35    edward bounds : please let the public know the truth about the pitbull.
6 Nov 2004 - 7:40    Rene Goyco : I've had sevral Pit Bull in my house with no incedents for the last 25 years. My kids grew up with them and these dogs are the best pet you can possably own. It is sad how the media exploits this breed saying thate are naturaly aggressive. Goyco
6 Nov 2004 - 7:53    Debbie Wilson : I currently work with a foster/rescue group in which there are several pit bulls or pit bull mixes. I could tell you stories about their need for love and how they love to roll-over on their backs (which is a submissive position, by the way) and get their tummies rubbed but the only story I will tell you is how one day one of these babies got her foot caught in her fence at one of our adoptions. She began to howl and could not get her foot out and was in pain. I ran to her to try and help her. She is heavy so I couldn't release her on my own; I needed some help with lifting her to release the foot. While I had my hand on her caught foot which hurt she very gently put her mouth on my hand just to tell me it hurt and to please help her. Now obviously, this was a dog in pain and in distress. She could easily have torn a piece out of my hand or torn-off my hand but she realized I was there to help but she was just trying to tell me that what I was doing wasn't helping. That's when I realized I needed help in lifting her. She could have hurt me badly but she didn't. I know a dachsund that tore a runner's achilles heel and he never ran again. Don't be so narrow-minded as to label a breed. It shows your ignorance.
6 Nov 2004 - 8:03    david hayes :
6 Nov 2004 - 8:06    Outlaw : I Think its a shame when people with no knowledge of our breed makes our breed to look like uncontrolable monsters. Please Visit WWW.OUTLAWKENNELS.COM
6 Nov 2004 - 8:13    Tamyka Jones : Punish the Deed not the Breed
6 Nov 2004 - 8:13    Switch Kennels : Education is the answer to all ignorance. If more people would educate themselves with the TRUTH and not the opinions of haters, our breed would be much better off.
6 Nov 2004 - 8:18    Juan Yanez : i have had an american pit bull terrier for about 8 years now and i have never had a problem with them please shed a little light on the good the dog brings to people
6 Nov 2004 - 8:33    Eddie Davis :
6 Nov 2004 - 8:34    Carla Burkman : American Pit Bull Terriers are a loving loyal breed! These animals need to be spotlighted in the media with a positive outlook for a change to show everyone that these are best friends of men, women and children alike.... Education IS the answer!
6 Nov 2004 - 8:41    Kevin McLean :
6 Nov 2004 - 8:42    Sheng Xiong : punish the deed not the breed. most caring dog i have ever owned with my two girls, one is 6 and other is 4.
6 Nov 2004 - 9:06    Nicole Pellerito : Hate the deed, not the breed!!! Pits are loyal, and great dogs. Any dog can be aggressive if trained that was. Statistically ****er spaniels and labs are more dangerous than pit bulls, who make up only 1.89% of bites. Just like kids, it's all in how you raise them!
6 Nov 2004 - 9:09    Rodney Bingley : New Troijan Kennels
6 Nov 2004 - 9:12    chris escobar : I HAVE ALWAYS OWNED PITBULLS AND NEVER HAD 1 PROBLEM, BECAUSE I RAISED THEM THE RIGHT WAY WITH LOVE AND COMPASSION. IF TREATED RIGHT THERE IS NO BETTER COMPANION AND FRIEND! EVEN AROUND CHILDREN
6 Nov 2004 - 9:13    melissa ferguson : people honestly have this breed mistaken. it definetly really depends on how the dogs are raised and what they are taught, just like children. i have seen many cases of other breeds of dogs attacking people and other animals. i dont see any of them in the media as much as the pitbull terrier.
6 Nov 2004 - 9:15    CHRISTIAN BARTHOLOMEW : THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT PITBULLS AND NOT JUST ALL THE BAD ATTENTION THE MEDIA FEEDS THE PEOPLE. THESE ANIMALS ARE LOYAL BEAUTIFUL CREATURES. WE MUST SAVE THEM!!!
6 Nov 2004 - 9:19    ELIZABETH DAVIS : I THINK IT IS SAD THAT PITBULLS ONLY GET BAD ATTENTION AND GET A BAD REP DUE TO IGNORANCE. THERE ARE MANY OTHER ANIMALS THAT ATTACK PEOPLE. IT IS ALL IN HOW YOU RAISE THE ANIMAL IF YOU BEAT YOUR CHILD ALL THE TIME AND TREAT THEM BAD, CHANCES ARE THEY WILL GROW INTO VERY AGGRESSIVE AND DANGEROUS ADULTS. WE NEED TO FOCUS MORE ON THE BAD OWNERS WHO MISTREAT THESE ANIMALS.
6 Nov 2004 - 9:27    Anthony Wall : I have owned several pit bulls and have found them to be loyal loveing animals. I personally believe that it is the owners of these dogs that make them what they are and when a pit bull attacks that it should be the owner that is put down not the dog.
6 Nov 2004 - 9:27    Catie Sanders : We really need to educate the public on what a great breed of dog the APBT is! They are so loving and it is so hard to imagin that they have this horrible rap! We really need this, not just for owners but for the LOVE OF THE BREED!
6 Nov 2004 - 9:34    VICTOR : IN MY OPINION BEST BREED. ALL THE BAD MEDIA REPORTS MAKE THEM LOOK EVIL. HALF OF THE DOG ATTACKS ARE BLAME ON THE BULLY BREED WITH OUT EVEN KNOWING THE BREED OF THE DOG. I GIVE THIS DOGS ALL THE TRUST IN THE WORLS TO BE AROUND KIDS AND FAMILY.
6 Nov 2004 - 9:40    Carol P :
