Nation wide, save pitbulls. This is Provo, Utah stating right now that they
are trying to take our rights away. They are ignorant, scared people
because they are IGNORANT! They do not understand that a dog is a dog. A
dog is only as good as it's owner. A dalmation is ten times more likely to
bite than a pitbull. I'm sick of of people ruining the name of PITBULL
because they aren't responsible enough to raise a member of the family.
Any breed of dog that sleeps at the foot of your bed and protects your
family is part of the family. |

I've had plenty of dogs in my time. From very small miniatures to the
Staffordshire Pull Terrier that I have now. The ONLY problems that I have
with him is that he's deathly afraid of taking a bath for some reason and
he loves to sleep on my bed! I've had my baby cousins come over and tug on
his tail, ears, poke at him when he's sleeping (after trying so hard to
stop this) and not once has he done anything to them. He simply gets up and
moves to a different part of the house. Sure, it's easy to use the
"eventually all pit bulls snap..." but this is true for any dog,
so it's not an excuse. Pit bulls are only as bad as you raise them. If you
load a gun and pull the trigger, it's going to shoot! If you put the lock
on it and be responsible, no one gets hurt. |

I support this petition. Ever since the first time I was introduced to this
breed I fell I in love with it. Pitbulls are really a nice and friendly
breed depending on how well they were raised. On the other hand I been in
two situations were I was almost attacked by two golden retrievers. If it
wasnt for the owner that stopped them I would of ended getting chewed up.
Two weeks later the first one that was about to attack me actually ended up
biting a young teen boy. |

I support this petition. I know that Pit-Bulls are already banned in my
area and it is unfortunated. The human society in the area won't even take
in stray pits. They hold them for 24 hours (if that) and then uthenize
them. It is very unfortunate. They can be an amazing animal with the right
owners. They are only aggressive if they are taught from a young age to be
that way. |

loving,loyal,kind dog i have ever owned. its the way the dog is raised from
a puppy. pitbulls raised in the right home will be the best compaion for
any family. my dog is extremely friendly with everyone, even little kids,
nothing but kisses and tail wags!!!!!! punish the deed not the
