I do all natural and I feel great and will not support the torutring of these wonderful animals so that I can pop a pill and stop hot flashes. This is absurd and un-needed, nautre provides us with a humane alternative... as yes it works I haven't had a hot flash one since going all natural(herbal), and I feel much better taking something I have control over and that isn't from the harm of an animal and yes the premarin mares are tormented and harmed for years, and in the end what do they recieve for all their hard effort.... The Slaughter house-how is that for a THANK YOU!!! Its cruel, inhumane, unethical, and abusive.

It's worked amazingly well. I took the attitude from the beginning, that if women throughout history could somehow survive menopause without pharmaceuticals, then so could I. Woman are being duped by the pharmaceutical industry...not just women, but the general public, who continue to be subjected to experimentation while paying dearly for the privilege. People need to wake up and start asking themselves some basic questions before swallowing the slick and insidious propaganda bombarding them hundreds of times daily on the tube. How altruistic is ANY company which puts profits before lives (both human and animal) to the tune of 100s of billions? The answer is obvious. It's tragic that our world has accepted the 'Science God' and tossed out basic common sense. I refuse to support an industry that tortures helpless animals and kills human beings as a result. These modern day medicine-men are nothing more than Frankenstenian psychopaths spawned by greed.

This is an inhumane act that is illegal.There are synthetic products available these days so there is no reason to continue to abuse these horses under such cruel conditions.

I intend to enjoy all the natural side effects of that to the hilt - I'd do that even if I did not have such a strong opnion on animal welfare - simply because I think it's bad for you to surpress nature with all means available. That can only backfire, and will do so. However, the bigger reason for myself for not taking such a drug (and others, if I can any help it) is the fact of animal testing and the production of such drugs using animal ingredients such as mare's urine. I have horses of my own - themselves victims of the reckless breeding practice for Premarin and the production of horse meat.

M : It is the obligation of all of us in the equine and animal protection community to launch major public relations campaigns to educate the public and the medical community on the important point that the cruel and inhumane treatment of horses to produce drugs from PMU is no longer necessary and should be stopped. Then and only then will we begin to see an end to the suffering and the slaughter.
