Why is drug that is the biggest cause of domestic violence, broken homes, ruined marriages, and destroyed lives promoted everywhere we look? available in practically any food store and advertised by beautiful people "having fun" (a poor representation of the true effects of alcohol)? And why is a natural herb whose medicinal benefits continue to be proven(alcohol has far more negative effects than positive) and causes people to be calm and possibly euphoric be such a bad thing in comparison? what is the motivation behind such a law? could it be money? does the government just make too much money off alcohol sales, marijuana fines, pricey scripts that ganja could work as well as or possibly even better than? hmmm..

The Gov. knows exactly what there doing. MJ aids over 40 different ailments, thats 40 different prescription drugs not purchased by you or your HMO. Now take 40 and times that by 3 for the average meds that go along with what was prescibed for you. You know to counteract all the SIDE EFFECTS FROM THE FIRST MEDS. Thats 120 different meds not purchased, and thats for only 40 people. How many people are on meds???? How much do drug companies profit off one medication billions-trillions. That amount times 120 times every patient thats on them = ALOT OF @$#%*ING MONEY. I support MJ, its the aloe vera of nuerological medicine. wait.....there not going to ban aloe vera now are they?? j/k

We have an endogenous cannabinoid system present in our bodies. More studies and research need to be conducted to ascertain the efficacy of the remarkable nueroprotective properties of cannabinoids.

I believe the Medical MJ patients in Orange county. It is legal all over the state of California, and since OC is in the state of CA, it should be no different there. Stop arresting patients following state law.

under the u s constitution, the right to regulate the health and safety of its citizens is specifically reserved by the states feds are abusing the application of the commerce clause
