I am sick and damn tired of seeing those snotty ass rich *****es carrying their dogs around in their purses! If I brought my beautiful rednose pitbull (who by the way is sweet as can be and loves cats, kids and everything) into a movie theater, salon or a restaraunt people would get all pissy about it. But no...it is politically correct to bring an oversized rat in a purse wherever you want and it is so cute! I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree that this is a bd thing. I know people who are animal welfare activists that like to carry around their dogs to help them start conversations with others about their passion to stop animal testing, puppy mills, animal abuse, etc. I think that this can be a great way to spread the word!

I DONT support this petition. some girls carry makeup some carry money do u get pissed of at them so why cant a girl just carry a dog. Really why some dogslove it in there purses some dont if they dont like it leave them home. But u cant if there three or 5 months old big dogs are like children too but the older ones.That u should leave at home. Small dogs are like little children u cant leave them alone.You see the point Lets say u have a golden when its a small puppy *if its kinda real small* bring it in a dog purse.Then it gets home and they wanna stay home cause there old enough. you see the point. =)

I DO NOT support this!!!! I always said if I got a small dog, I wouldn't carry it around in a purse, but the thing is I did just get a small morkie, and he wants to be everywhere I am. I got him a purse, and he LOVES it! I don't force him in there at all, he goes in there by himself! To the person who said leave them in the car, you need to realize how ILLEGAL that is! It's the same thing as leaving your child in the car, and you will be arrested and put in jail with a fine for that. My mother works for the animal shelter and trust me, I have heard plenty of stories about people going to jail for it. It's not like if I take my puppy somewhere he's going to have an accident on the floor, or bug anyone, most of the time nobody even knows I have a puppy in the purse. Stop bi**hing and get over it.

Yes rat dogs are ugly, but Teacup yorkies look like baby ewoks. Your golden retriever is a bull in a China shop, you can't take that into a restaurant, it might bite somone. Your "loveable" rabid beast could spaz out, you don't know. But little 2 pound Wicket, sleeping in a purse...who's he gonna bite?? M.O.R.O.N.S Go back to work, or pay attention in class. I do not support this petition. People can do whatever the hell they want with their dogs. The thing is, people who carry their dogs around in purses NEVER SET THE DOGS DOWN. Therefore, there is no way a dog could make a mess on the restaurant or store floor. Bigger dogs, however, can. So they choose to keep them out, because obviously you cannot carry a 100lb lab in a handbag.

I support this petition. My dog is not small enough to fit in a bag, yet is still kinda bigish, he's about the size of a beagle. I dont believe in carrying dogs around in purses, its horrible. Just ignore the shopkeepers and say,"Well, how come you let chihuahuas and stuff in? Theyre all dogs".
