I support this petition. Superman Returns made me a fan of Superman, I have always been a Batman fan and hated Superman. "Returns" turned me into a believer of Superman and to not continue that story would remove me and many from the theaters if a reboot happens.

When I look at the scripts and casting lists that were floating around during the 10 years before singer made the first of what could be a great series of films, i get scared.
A. I dont want this to be passed from person to person for a further 10 years, i want a new superman film NOW!

I support this petition. WB can add some of Superman's supervillians.But a reboot is a big mistake.Superman can be strong, defiant, even revengeful. I want to see him alomst get revenge on Lex Luther after what he did to the Man of Steel in "Superman Returns". That movie was dedicated

Reboots are one of the most dickless inventions ever made. History has shown rebooting a film franchise will not improve it's financial intake. All you are doing is alienating fans.
Warner Brothers you still have time to get back on track, have you learned anything from the Batman movies it took how many reboots until you got it right in 2005. Get over it and quit making multi million dollar mistakes and continue where the story left off. You can make more off a continuing story and turn Jason into Superboy who joins the Justice Leauge after his father is killed by Doomday, and now you have a Justice League movie that can introduce characters like the X-men and then go solo.
I support this petition. It has come to my attention that you have made the decision to reboot the Superman Franchise. With this news I am greatly disappointed and am unable to comprehend why.
I have heard many rumors comparing the success of The Dark Knight to Superman, however I do not believe that these two films can even be compared. For example, Superman Returns took in over $391 million dollars, while the Batman Begins only took in $371 million dollars. I personally believe this is an excellent example of how the sequel to Superman Returns would only guarantee to be more successful than the Dark Knight.
Also, Bryan Singer has proven to have his first movies introduce the character while adding the action and excitement in his sequels. As seen in the x-men series. I believe that the action in Superman: Man of Steel will thrill the audience and awe many of the fans that were “disappointed” with the action in the first movie.
If you really believe that a reboot is the only way to save the superman franchise, I deeply believe you are wrong. The Hulk reboot was equally a disappointment as the first.
As a fan of Warner Bros. films and the Superman Returns franchise, I hope that the studio reconsiders and makes the right choice for the sequel and any new changes in the future. Make Superman: Man of Steel! I promise to see it more than once.
