This public world needs accommodations for Deaf people in airplanes, how could we know someone has a gun while hearing people can. Deaf people love to travel but sometimes when we get on an airplane, the flight attendants tend to tell the rules before they fly off the ground. Deaf people can’t hear the announcements. Whenever an emergency happens, we don’t know what to do, so it is risky for us. We also miss general announcements about what is outside the plane or when the food service will begin. We suggest airplanes add message boards for each airplane for these reasons.
If you agree with us about this issue, please join our petition as well as send e-mail letters to us at the address below about your opinion and any experiences related to this you have had in airplanes. We will apprentice it.

This is extremely important and can benefit both population on the airplane (the deaf and the hearing) in a sense in ensuring that they can understand and get the information equally. This would benefit the hearing because often times, the plane engines can be extremely loud while it\'s warming up or when the passenger spends too much time chatting while the announcement is being made. Thus, the population who don\'t care would get their attention grabbed, the population who are seated from an audible distance can be sure they have the proper instructions and finally, it could also be translated in spanish or any other language after the english transcript has completed for those who do not speak/read english as their primary language. This may be the \"selling point\" to convince the airlines to provide the services.
