I suggest that any Imam or muslim that ca prove that their God can be proven as fact, is asked to do so, and if they can I would go along with
any decision about
Mr. Rahman;s fate they would want to make.
There is one God only.
There is a God (Father), a human (Son) and the illuminated spirit (the
Holy Spirit).
A true, truthful and genuinly compassionate faith isn't a necessarily
based on any church or any kind of outer manifestations, rather than
inside (life of) one of us all, and we all - within our free will of
course - are capable of act (within our limits) like Jesus Christ,
within our actions, feelings and eventually our thoughts also. When the
foundation of human is harmonic within all levels, it also reflected to
the outside world.
However, a true faith and knowledge can be based also other religious
doctrines, if they are'nt any kind of way against a free will of humans- so
within practicing there isn't any kind of doctrines against genuinly
love and peace or any kind of abnormal demands- like killing another
people for no real reason- like Islam teach for its followers, and eg.
celibacy commitment of priests of Roman Catholic Church.
I would like to send my best hopes to Mr. Abdul Rahman, and to all mankind
for shaping the actions of future for better and genuinly compassionate
tomorrow. God bless us all.
I support this petition with all my heart. It's disgusting that someone -and mostly his own father- calls for the death of a man so good and brave, just because he converted to Christianity.
I support this petition, though I do not necessarily agree with the preamble. There should be no such "crime" as apostasy anywhere - so much for religion!
I support this petition. Freedom belongs to all people, everywhere. Either Afghans understand this, or the brave soldiers of free countries should withdraw from Afghanistan.

Man was given Freedom of Choice. A man's business with God is his business and for no one else. I sfully support Mr. Rahman in his choice and he should be set free. Imagine if the Christians did the same to people that converted to Islam or Budhism or any other Theological or Phylosophical Idea....
Afghanistan seems to be 1000 years behind the civilized world. The modern world has learned that in order to coexist together, everyone has to show extreme tolerance for the beliefs of others, even when we are certain that they are wrong.
