I support this petition.
Every human has a right to worship that in which he chooses. Right or wrong, in anyones eyes, it is still the gift of "free will".
I support this petition NOT because the person charged has converted from Islam to Christianity BUT because the Quranic Islam gives all the "right" to chose his religion(4-137). The Afghan tradition is based on the Biblical text of stoning to death as given in Lv24-16, Dt13,5&6 etc. Good Christians should oppose this petition.
I support this petition. To save the life of a man living in a newly democratised country to show the world that you deserve all what have done to your country, and to prove the Islamic principles clearly as you pretend that it is the religion of mercy??
I support this petition. It is sad that someone, in present times, is on trial for their religious beliefs. Let's all pray that Abdul Rahman is allowed to worship God in the way he chooses.
I support this petition. Each person should have at any time the freedom to chose his or her religion. During Lent we must remeber to pray Tha God enlights the minds and fill their hearts with love, so no death will be sentenced in a trial or in a more private context.
I DO NOT support this petition, because it does not criticize Islam. Until there is direct, open criticism of Islam itself, this and many other barbaric practices will continue.
I support this petition. And remember, as a fellow Christian, Abdul Rahman is the brother of President Bush, Condeleeza Rice, and a whole bunch of other folks, including me. Don't kill my brother!
I support this petition for the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.Theocracy is the most horrible of all dictatorships.Tribalism and medieval spirit are not a different culture; they are hatred against culture and modernity.
If Allah is merciful, should man be vindictive ?
If He is just, he does not need men to carry out his "justice", because if He does, then He has no power of His own?
If He is true, He does not worry about muslims who convert to another religion, as truth must in the end stand up for itself in eternity ?
Finally, should a man be punished for following a consciousness of God, that is pure and does not harm others ?
Should a follower of another religion also be killed if he converts to Islam ?
I support this petition.
If it is ok for people to convert into Islam (which muslims are forever boasting about) then it should be ok to convert OUT of Islam.I support this petition.
God tells us all life is precious. With good intentions in your heart, please release him. Help the people who condemn him to understand the concept of humanity.
I support this petition. As an atheist and secularist, I believe that everyone in ANY country should be free to renounce their religion and not be killed for it. The shariah law is SEVERLY BARBARIC and should be thrown in a dumpster.
I support this petition and say no to Muslim intolerance in Afghanistan. It is absolutely wicked to sentence a man to death for changing his religious faith to Christianity.
