Whether we live by life's messages from Buddha, Moses, Christ, Mohammed, or Kermit the Frog...I emplore you to support an individual's right to choose their own religion. Let only the Creator judge us for this choice.
He chose his new faith and not to be intimadated by death sentence by renouncing it. a christian martyr who is willing to be killed rather than a martyr by killing people.
I support this petition. If Christianity is the religion of choice for this man, he should not be punished for converting. I only hope that the support we show for him will make the governments of all countries know that they can not make decisions for us and revoke this execution.
Not only do I support this petition, but I am in constant prayer for him and his family. He is in no way insane because he believes Jesus Christ as his Savior. I will shout it out until my bones ache that I love him, because He first loved every single one of us.
I support this petition.

As a Canadian citizen, I strongly support this petition. The irony is, the same Jesus, God's Son, whom Abdul now trusts, also lovingly gave His life for those who (in mad hatred) wish to see Abdul executed. This Jesus can even bring them too genuine eternal peace, if only they would let Him.
I strongly support this petition. While I am a Christian, I have lent my support to Muslims fleeing religious persecution in the Balkans. I think for people claiming to be Muslim to persecute fellow children of Abraham and worshippers of the One God reflects very badly upon Islam and does a terrible disservice to the peaceful, charitable, and freedom-loving people I've known who follow Islam.
I support this petition.
When a christian would convert to the Islam religion and would be condamned by the christians, I would sign a petition for his release also.
I think that each 'God', in the Islam, in the Christian religion of any other religion asks us to do no harm to other people, to love and respect each-other and to understand each-other as brothers and sisters, no matter what kind of religion we have. I think Mohammed, God, our God, .... will cry if they see how we people try to kill other people and say: it is Gods will! There is no God who wants us people to kill others!
I strongly support this petition. If indeed the new Afghan Constitution guarantess freedom of religion, then what's all this about death penalty for conversion? It simply does not make any sense. Either this freedom is there, or it isn't. And if it isn't, what kind of a democracy is it, anyway?
I support this petition. It is the theocrats who are the certifiable psychotics. They are the ones who should be in court or having psychiatric assessments.
I support this petition. How can this be a CRIME punishable by DEATH?? Life is the creation of God/Allah and WHO are WE to take it away in God’s/Allah’s name? This 'law' is a man made rule, and if this were to go on, don't blame the rest of the world for thinking and believing that Islam is a religion of war, death and terrorism…which, in reality, it really is NOT. COMMON HUMANITARIAN SENSE...
I support this petition. The Koran tells us Allah is all merciful and forgiving. The punishment Abdul Rahman now faces in his bid to seek truth is not in Koran but the creation of lesser beings - man. Such laws to take life (for change of religion) must be abolished. Bring back the true values of the Koran.
I DONT SUPPORT THIS PETITION.
every person is governed by law set up by the government.
If you didnt know, MC donalds is banned in India because serving or eating beef is considered holy by us Hindus. today it is the law , and anyone found eating beef will be punished.
same goes here.
Abdul is unfortunate to have born in that land or in that religion. but there is nothing u can do about it but follow the islamic law.
I support this petition. Just another very scary concept that these people can't seem to shake or understand..and we expect them to EVER change their ways???? Sick, Sick, Sick culture!!
I support this petition. The proposed action againsr Rahuman is a clear ostensible of human rights violation and it should be condemned in all possible manner.
The freedom to choose one's own religion must be unfettered in a democratic institution. If Abdul Rahman is indeed committing a crime by his conversion, then it is for God to judge him accordingly in the life hereafter. He cannot, by any means or principles, be judged by another man in this lifetime.
