I do not support this petition. Rob cannot even substantiate any of the claims he makes. Body contact is as bad or worse than power boating. But, OMG they're poisoning our babies. But I must swim......regain youth, improve myself and to hell with the rest of you.
I do not support this petition. Statements being made in the comments section of the DC indicate there are many unsubstantiated claims being used to justify this proposal and it is merely an attempt to limit one recreational user in favor of another. Finding a way to allow all users should be the goal.
I do not support this petition. Once again Rob is on a mission. There is no evidence of polution from boating and body contact is proven to foul the water. Yet swimming is okay. Close the reservoir to all now! Al-kai-duh is coming.
I support this petition, because my family enjoys renting kayaks at the Res, and the loud Jet Skis really diminish this otherwise peaceful activity. Thanks for your consideration.
I support this petition. I would also support the petition if it were amended to allow motors under 11 hp. (For example: to accept fishing boats with small motors similar to Union Reservoir in Longmont.)
I cannot support this petition. Eliminating pollution in all forms requires that body contact be eliminated as well. Dillon reservoir allows no body contact as it is a drinking water source but allows boating. Can you address this?
