We, the parents, students, businesses and other concerned groups of East Aurora School District 131, are aware that the district is having financial problems, however for the we feel that if the school board decides to do another referendum it should be put on the November 4th ballot rather then February 5th. It would give the groups enough time to educate the senior citizens, parents and opponents of the referendum. The more time we have to give out the information, the better chance there is referendum to get passed.

We understand that raising property taxes can affect everyone in the district, but in the long run it will improve the quality of education, property values and businesses.

Please consider this in when you decide to put the referendum on the ballot
