n the interest of upholding the democratic principles for which many have lost their lives in Afghanistan during the recent years, I firmly believe it is the responsibility of every individual and the international community as a whole to reinstate Malalai Joya's position as an elected representative in the Afghan parliament, no matter how outspoken she may be on any issue. If her constituents do not believe she represented them fairly and accurately, they will not re-elect her. Democracy.
It shames Afghan politicians and it's government to the international community that you have excluded Malalai Joya from her position and role as an elected parliamentarian. Unless you return her to her rightful position, you will continue to be dishonourable.
We need to support Afghan women who are brave enough to speak the truth and we need women llike her to be in the parliment- otherwise the future of afghanistan will remain in the hands of a corrupt and cruel parliment.

The pushtin majority in the south, for whom we are trying to win the hearts and minds of, while we aid and defend their mortal enemies (northern alliance) that dominate the so called Democratic Karzai Regime, can now be confident that they have conscientiouos representation from the like of Ms. Joya. And the women in Aphganastan too can celebrate her thriving in that government....isn't that one of the first reasons were there to promote democracy and women's rights. I will assume our Goverments (Canada)and those of the other
