This election was an indication that all is not well in our democracy. Please take a stand and help regular Americans regain their trust in the system that put you into office.
I was a decorated member of the U.S. Air Force for seven years, including the period of the first Gulf War. I served my county to protect the freedoms and rights of all Americans.
I call on my Senators to act now to protect our right to vote and to have our votes counted in a free and fair election.
Do not certify the presidential election on January 6, 2005. Investigate the signs of rampant fraud and voter manipulation in Ohio, Florida and New Mexico.
Moral values? How moral is a crooked, fraudulent election with switched ballots in the black boxes and suppressed votes. No amount of coverup could convince me that this was legit and you have no mandate from my side of the fence. Let Ohio and Florida vote and keep your fingers out of it! In honor of Ray C. Lemme of Florida, let the people vote - all of them.
Honest elections are critical to democracy. We need to act radically and courageously to restore our faith in ours, to really be honest, not just pretend everything was okay when it wasn't.
Men with true values don't need to cheat. If you have the faith of your convictions you trust that your side will win by being morally superior. Vote fraud is the vilest of all crimes.
I came to this country 38 years ago to fled from a country where freedom to vote is never a reality ONLY TO FIND that it is also happening now -- in election 2004. Is this America that we pride ourselves of being the beacon of democracy in the free world?
Boycott Wendy's, Outback, & Fla.OJ, at the LEAST, until the Gov. and "Media" boycott of the vote-theft/fraud/supressi on has ended, and there is a REVOTE in Ohio and Florida! Be enough of a REAL loyal US citizen to let every voter vote, and make every vote be COUNTED! Opting instead for "faith based sins of omission" will be participating in dirty, traitorous, teasonous betrayal!
Please, for the sake of honesty, integrity and the democracy that I, as an American would like to believe this great nation truly stands for, contest the election. Thank you very much. Sincerely yours,
Vicki Leeds
As you know, a request was recently made by several members of the U.S. House of Representatives for the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to undertake an investigation of the efficacy of voting machines and new technologies used in the 2004 election. This is critical to voter confidence. This is critical to the integrity of our national election system.
We are at risk of losing all democratic protections in this country if we allow unelected leaders to take over. The Republican Party's contempt for the democratic process must be checked.
This is the most important issue facing our country. The survival of democracy is based on honest elections where all votes are counted and verified by paper trail.
we will never have a legitimate democracy as long as the results of our presidential election are uncertain. You have the ability to help ensure that this is the case. Please use your influence on behalf of those who don't hold as much influence on this stuff. In other words, your customers.
All citizens and all office holders should make sure that voting is sacred, and that each vote is counted and each voter can prove his or her vote. Otherwise all our talk about Democracy in the world is a sham.
W e do not have a democracy without a fair and honest election. How hypocritical it is that our soldiers are dying so that we can spread "freedom and democracy" while we do not practice it at home?
Many men have died to earn and protect our right to vote, and we owe it to them as much as ourselves and our children and grandchildren to do what we can to keep that right. If we ignore this now, we will be well on our way to a one party system, which can only lead to deeper and deeper corruption, and ultimate loss of democracy
Our young men and women are dying to preserve our right to vote. Don`t let them die in vain. Make sure our election process is an honest one and every vote is counted. Our integrity is at stake.
