Please protect our democracy by authorizing revotes in Florida and Ohio for the 2004 election. The voter fraud and irregularities are appalling in this election, not to mention the election of 2000.
Recent election shenannigans are all the more shameful because those in power are not taking steps to address obvious and deliberate patterns of disenfranchisement.

I live in Warren County Ohio. I would like to believe that my right to vote, and to have my vote counted, is as important to our elected officials as it to me. Unless there is a thorough investigation and a complete recount, I will always feel that my right to vote is not being protected by the people we elected TO protect it. I would like our elected officials to be as concerned about our election, as they were about the one in the Ukraine.
It is absolutely astounding that this country, the supposed champion of democratic voting, has to endure charges of voting fraud scandals. The ONLY solution is to conduct another election in Ohio with PAPER BALLOTS ONLY. The current election results have too many questionable and possibly fraudulent results.
The well informed American knows what happened in FL in 2000 after the fact. According to reports found, I'm not sure if valid measures were taken in 2004. Please recount.
Please take this action to investigate the election. If we are to participate in our democracy, we need to know that our vote does count and that our system is honest. Millions of dollars are spent to mobilize disenfranchised voters, when the best way to insure their participation is to show them a system that is working.
Please give us the truth.
Clearly, the American people were cheated again out of an honest and democratic vote. The hypocrisy of our keeping a paternal eye on voting processes in other countries is outrageous. For the first time in my life I am profoundly ashamed to be an American. I am hopeful that those in power will find the gumption to resist the tyranny of this administration.
I cannot believe that the majoritiy of the American public was truely duped by the lies of this campaign. He blatantly cheated in Florida before, but Gore was being to idealistic about dividing the country to challenge the results, which he actually did win. let us not be rolled over again!!! Challenge this election! We have so many descripancies to change it on!
I am distressed to learn that 2 + 2 does NOT equal 4, according to results in the Ohio election. Things just don't add up and in order for our nation to stand on the principals set out by our forefathers, it is tantamount to challenge the vote. Please, make it known that there ARE discrepencies, thus there needs to be changes made. Our nation's stability, integrity, belief in the government are at stake. How can we be reassured that our vote really does count when there is so much in question?

We can hardly call ourselves a democracy if votes are not counted, voters are manipulated into long lines or intimidated by misinformation into not voting. I insist we recount the votes in Ohio and Florida or have a re-vote if a recount is not possible.
Prove we still have a democracy. After 2000 we expected a clean and fair election. Instead we got suppresion, people inexplicably "scrubbed" from the voters list, intimidation, and wierd things like precincts in Ohio at nearly 100% turnout while other precincts were less than 50%. Why wasn't the recount in Ohio done according to state law? Why is Mr. Blackwell witholding the poll books? What is he hiding????
