To fire on air personalities for a prank phone call is insane. If CBS is trying to save advertising dollars then they are going about it the wrong way. Firing JV and Elvis would cost CBS way more than keeping them. If they stay WE are happy as fans. If they are fired the OCA are happy, but they are not fans and do not affect the show or station in any way, shape, or form. There is only one thing to say. . . DOGHOUSE- WHAAT!!

It is unfortuate that adults can find no greater cause to fight for than hurt feelings. Even if their prank was racist, so what? Is there no room is this country for different points of view? Is that not one of the things that makes America the greatest country in world? If we want a country that truly embraces diversity, we have to accept certain diversities that we may find distasteful, including humor. As much as certain groups would like to believe otherwise, diversity is not skin-deep. It also spans the area of taste and preference. Free FM? HA! They don't even know the meaning of the word "free".
CBS, Support your talent! Bring back JV and Elvis as well as Imus! Stop listening to these activist groups, your fan base is bigger and more important. They just want the attention and the spot light and your allowing them to control your programming. It's comedy, lighten up! Do us all a favor and shut these people up by taking a stand. Do what's right and support your talent.
CBS is pathetic to cater to this stupid special interest groups instead of the lifeblood of the program, which is the fans. Nobody who actually listens to the show cares about racial jokes. Black, white, asian, hispanic, etc have all been dissed on the show, and the listeners consist of ALL of them!!! Because of a few whiney idiots, the funniest show on free FM is no longer on. I am not a big fan of JV and Elvis but there is no way that these guys should have their livelyhood taken away from them for a prank call. This has gone way too far. Special Interest groups and the FCC want to turn our airwaves into a sterial enviornment where free speak becomes OBSCENE. Should we have our politicians write all the scripts for radio hosts? Wake up CBS!!! Radios have dials for a reason. If you dont like whats on then you change it. Thats what makes this country so great, freedom. JV and ELVIS is by far the best and funniest radio talk show i have ever heard. To think that they might get fired because of a simple harmless joke is absolutly the most idiotic thing i have ever heard.The people who got offended are just a bunch of babies who cry and cry and complain because they have nothing better else to do with their usesless lives. These people are just like the people who want to sue somebody or some place just so they can get some money. These people who complain and CAN'T TAKE A JOKE have too much time on their hands and if they don't like the jokes and skits should stop listnening and then they won't get offended. I’m a fairly new listener to the Doghouse, and I was really enjoying it until CBS yanked them off. It upsets so much what CBS did to them, but I don’t want to go into a rant. All I’ll say is that life is too short to get upset at everything we may find offensive. JV and Elvis didn’t make the prank call to spread hate. They made a joke at the expense of a cultural difference. In this world, we should never be afraid to celebrate our differences OR make fun of them. Be proud, but don’t take everything so seriously. Understand what a joke is, and if you don’t find it funny, get on with your life. That said, I hope CBS brings JV and Elvis back. They worked hard to get where they are. One joke shouldn’t take that away from them. By the way, JV apologized for the bit and it sounded truly sincere. Can’t we just bring them back and move on now?
The grievances against what JV an Elvis did are completely ridiculous. People are getting too sensitive about jokes that are made. I just wish I had the time and energy to worry about what jokes were being said about my heritage, only problem with that is it’s being spent on making a living for myself and my family. It is a sad state of affairs that we have to deal with when we have to walk around on egg shells around these pussies that have nothing better to do with their time but try to find things that they can get their panties in a bunch over.
I hope JV and Elvis read my post. You guys are great and I listen just about every day. This is a bunch of sh*t and you guys need to fight this tooth and nail. You have the support of all the FreeFM listeners as well. If anything bring the show to XM or Sirius like Stern did. He made a big impact on the radio world when he pulled that and you guys will make just as big of an impact. Start your own station or something.. you guys are too good to not be on radio.
This is the fault of the liberal left. They are killing this country peice by peice. People are becoming more afraid to say what they really feel day by day. Why do we have to respond to every single person who is offended by anything that is ever said. If we do it will end in us all becoming mutes.
