Rosie O'Donnell offended Asian Americans on national daytime television by mocking their accent, yet there was no serious threat of her losing her spot on "The View". JV and Elvis however, have only a fraction of the audience "The View" has, and had a voice already recorded playing the prank call. There is such hypocrisy in this whole situation, it is ridiculous. I have never listened to Imus in my entire life, but I am still furious, and to this day, i refuse to buy anything from Staples, not to mention purchase any product such as Tide ever again. Are the people at CBS that scared, not to mention incompetant at their jobs, that they will do whatever some small group of people (who have probably never listened to the show in their life) tell them to do? If you fire these guys for something as silly as this then sooner or later you’re not going to have any good talent on your station at all. For God's sake, someone get a life. They apologized twice in the same day. If they meant to offend anyone they wouldn't have done that. This is an atrocity. Since when do special interest groups decide what the rest of the world can choose to do, say, and listen to? This country is supposed to be a free country. How is it that a small group of people are able to force their beliefs upon the rest of the country? CBS needs to listen to everybody and not ignore those of us who support JV and Elvis. I stopped listening to WFAN in the morning. Now I will have to listen to another show during the doghouse time slot.CBS.. I thought you listeners were more important to you.

While the bit in question may have been offensive to some listeners it in no way put anyone's life at risk, the punishment should fit the crime. Please reinstate JV and Elvis ASAP as they have paid their debt.
