Support a wide scale theatrical release of The Sas...

The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang is one of the most enjoyable comedic films I've seen in years. It easily won the Audience Award for Best Narative Feature at the Slamdance Film Festival last January and has been garnering awards and enthusiastic reviews and response at film festivals throughout the US, Canada, and New Zealand ever since. More people should get a chance to enjoy this film on the big screen. Sony/BMG Entertainment is the company that has signed on to this film as the distributor. And despite the almost completely positive response this film has received, they are considering abandoning a release to theaters in favor of a straight to dvd release. If you have seen this film and enjoyed this film, please let Sony/BMG know by signing this petition. Great news, everyone! Although, Sony/BMG did not choose to listen, another distributor did. Screen Media Films has noticed all of the fans and the support we have given this film. They have stepped in and are going to give this film the theater release it deserves! From what I understand, the release date in the US is set at December 7th, 2007. It may be limited at first, but if it does well, they can take it out wide. When we have more details about the scope of the release, I'll post it here. Thanks to each and every one of you who signed this petition in support of this film. And let's keep signing and show our support to Screen Media. Fans made a difference here, and you all are awesome. Look for this film in theaters on Decemeber 7th!!
