this is the worst version of superman ever. they should stop connecting the show to superman cos it really isn't about clark's journey to superman..its about how clark gets more and more obessessed with lana. maybe the writers didn't specify it clearly in the beginning, this is set in an alternate universe, where there clark remains a college drop out, and lives with lana the witch, lex pines after lana all the time and plots of ways to steal everything clark has, green arrow/oliver queen is the saviour of the world/superman, lois marries oliver and they fight for truth and justice. cos this version makes more sense!
The sooner Clana ceases to have anything to do with the storylines in Smallville the better for the show as a whole.
NO other Superman themed TV series or film EVER had this much Clana, which is possibly why they were less painful despite the lack of any particularly good animation.

The most Clana has done for this show is drag it down to the level of Days of Our Lives as shown by the recent comparisons in the Media Village reviews. Thanks to Clana, that's all this show will ever be - a pale imitation of Days of Out Lives. What's next? Is Lana going to get possessed by the Devil, like Marlena, her match from Days of Our Lives as Media Village so proudly boasts in their reviews? I mean, she's already had the faux baby and the horrible marriage right? Gah. What a waste of what could have been a great show.
If anything, Chlois could save this nonsense. But of course, that would presume the writers would have the balls to do so. Somehow, I believe they'd rather make Lana possessed by the Devil next.
Clana has got to end. Because of Clana Smallville is starting to turn into a soap-opera. Must fans do not watch Smallville because of the soap-opera drama we watch it because of the supposedly story of Superman. Where is the Superman Story we all know and love?

Clana ran it's course YEARS ago, yet the producers of this show have decided to continue to beat the dead horse. The Clana relationship has always been boring, unrealistic, unsexy, and mind-numbing. Not to mention cliche'd. Clark repeatedly forgets his life lessons, at this rate he will be the most phony Superman of all time. Well, if he ever becomes Superman.

NOOOO....not the CLANA again. Say it isn't so. What happened to Clark Kent facing his destiny? Things were going to so well in S6 then WHAM the Clana came back full force mid-season. When season four came around, with Lois and the [assumed] end of Clana, I was overjoyed. I thought it was cute for the first couple years, but by the third year, I was ready to gag whenever Clark and Lana had a scene together. I have to wonder: do "relationships" like that even EXIST in real life? I would hope that any sane couple or person would know that after two break-ups (at MOST), they should move on. This is simply getting pathetic, and I've been boycotting Clana episodes (sometimes even the episodes void of Lois) or even episodes simply with Lana IN THEM since the fourth season. Now, I'm certainly not saying to take the girl off the show- just don't shove these dull and overused plotlines on her (on-again-off-again relationship with Clark, the "witch", having an actual PURPOSE on the show).
Christina? Name calling only makes you and your ship seem idiotic and pointless- and as much as I hate Clana, I respect those of you who ship it (if they do so with dignity). No more Clana, the first two seasons were tolerable because they were still in the will they or won't they phase but after officially hooking up and breaking up a billion times, the duo have become very dull and lack any oomph in their chemistry! Smallville was sooo good. Clark was moving on and finally realized that he had to let Lana go because she did not have a place in his future, she was something he had to leave behind in order to realize his destiny. It seemed as if finally the show was progressing in superman's development. Then Promise aired, unfortunately, and suddenly superman has regressed to a bopy who cannot let go of his childhood dreams. Please tell me how this Clark is supposed to be Superman, because if this show ends in Season 7, which it probably will, there is no way Clark can be the iconic hero whose legend has survived for the last have century. Please, just give me some character development and kill the Clana!
I enjoyed the Clana at first but it just keeps going over and over and over and over and over and over the same emotinal ground. I am soooo bored by it now, any interest I had is long since killed dead. End the Clana, seriously. No one cares at this point. Everything else in the show is moving forward, and the Clana is stuck in S1.
The first dozen episodes of season six were absolutely amazing. I thought this was going to be THE BEST season ever of the show. Boy, was I wrong! After dumping Ollie (who is much more mature and Superman-like than the pathetic, moping, lovesick puppy, whining Clark Kent) and seeming to forget all about Jimmy and Chloe (who were the cutest couple in the history of television), not to mention somehow neglecting to remember how much Lana actually does love Lex (remember "Static"? Yeah, that was a fantastic episode!)... the show has returned to its roots of the fourteen year old, selfish Super Brat being possessive and obsessed about Lana Lang, enough to propose to a pregnant girl on her wedding day. I hate what you have done to season six. I hate what you have done to Lex Luthor, making him the true victim here when you were obviously trying to make him out to be the devil (sorry, after five years of making your audience love him, it doesn't work...). And I detest above all what you have done to Lana. You make her out to be a woman who cannot make up her mind or stand to her convictions, who is petty, selfish, ungrateful, and flippant about her love. After all these years, I was hoping we would see maturity and instead we see immaturity. Above all, I hate what you have done to Clark Kent. There's no way this childish boy, at nineteen for God's sake, is ever going to become Superman. The Clana drama must stop. It does nothing to forward the plot. It has every non-Clana fan (and that's three-forths of your American audience) wanting to gouge out their eyeballs with sporks. It has me, a once-rabid fan, setting my DVR and then deciding hours after the show has aired whether I really want to bother with it or not. You keep on babbling about more seasons than seven? Why, when you have just wasted the last half of season six??

This season started out so great - the resurgence of the endless and boring Clark and Lana romance is completely spoiling the fun. More episodes like "Justice"!
I keep asking myself why Clana is STILL such a prominent relationship on this show, and I can't come up with ONE suitable response! Please, in addition to just being tired...the Clana storyline does NOTHING to build Clark's character. If anything, it continues to destroy it (and anyone who doubts that needs to look no further than the episode Promise for clarification). Not to mention the fact that it's a useless endeavor on the parts of writers for Superman fans who know that Lana plays NO SIGNIFICANT ROLE in Clark/Superman's future. And If the writers didn't already recognize this they would have never introduced Lois Lane into Smallville's Superman Timeline so early! So, there! *sigh*
Please put this relationship out of its misery. It kills everything it touches. End it for good and let Clark move on with his life and become superman and fall harder for Lois.

6 Seasons revolving around the romantic turmoil of Clark and Lana make Smallville less memorable for its Superman Mythos and more for being another teen angst melodrama. Please to save the show from itself, KILL CLANA...it is time it got axed and Clark concentrated on becoming the real Superman.

I’m a huge clois fan and I have to see how clana fans say that Lana is the one for Clark and that Lois is nothing more than a rebounding… Do you think that’s fair? Clark has kissed Lois and almost been with her, don’t you think it’s time to begin to see how Clark has feelings for Lois and let his obsession with Lana aside?
Lexana fans have been waiting for an episode like Static since season 1 and they have been loyal and devoted to the show because you gave hints that there will be something big between this two… I have never really thought that Lex and Lana will be interesting as a couple until the beginning of this season where I thought they had a lot of potential and I decided to give them a chance… but now what? You give them a terrible episode like Promise and you expect them to keep watching, we know what’s going on with the baby, so it’s clear that the torture for them it’s not over yet… Again, do you think that’s fair?

It's a vicious cycle. Everyone already knows that Clark will end up with Lois in the end. It doesn't make sense to keep bastardizing Superman mythos. Hasn't been proven that the episodes which are more Clana/ Lana-centric are always have lower ratings. Don't get me wrong, Lana as a character could have been really good, strong and versatile, if the TPTB hadn't continued to stymie her into the role of being too needy and pathetically helpless. I would think that after 'Reckoning', Clark would have realized his saving Lana was an in vain effort. Clana was appropriate in the beginning, but now, with the show's new goal of showing how Clark is becoming the man he was meant to be, it's time to cast away those things and people that are so deeply entrenched into who he was as a teenager and kid. Again, we've seen Clark doesn't have a realistic view of who Lana is. To him, she's just an ideal, a symbol of normality that is just not for him. Clark needs to move on.
We already know that Clark and Lana don't end up 2gether, so why drag it out until the end. It is time for Clark to get his head out of his you know what and move on already. He needs to turn his attention to lois now and accept his destiny.
