it's been 7 years, i think it's high time Clark Kent get over Lana Lang and move on. this is why the ratings are dropping....we're sick of seeing Clark pine over Lana and Lana play mind games with Clark.
I don't understand what Clark sees in Lana. That woman is a doll in every sense of the word: she dresses pretty, changes personalities (and hobbies) at random and her only purpose in life is to be with a man. You might as well call her Barbie. She's having a negative effect on Clark, too. Instead of moving closer to his destiny, she's pulling him away from it. She's dragging this show down and it needs to end. I say end the Clana and make Clark the star of his own show! Make him Superman!
Clark Kent as Superman and the reporter becomes hope to many...that's the mythos. His hope is Lois Lane. Lana might have helped him form early on, but the path he and Lana are on is not one that a Superman can come back from to be that hope to so many. Please focus on his morals that the Kents instilled in him since they found him, the friendship with Jimmy (and Chloe for this timeline) and his path to a relationship with Lois. That's what people really want to see!

I watch Smallville to see Clark grow toward his destiny, not to be dragged back and down by the Lana character over and over.The writing for this character has been so scattered it's impossible to cheer for her anymore. The Clana has been going on for far too long. It's about time to stop the soap opera crap known as Clana and move Clark on with his Destiny. I have hated this horrible relationship for 6 years, it's boring, we KNOW that Clark and Lana are not meant to be. I want to see Clark, Lex, Lois and Jimmy's journeys towards their destiny. And Chloe and Lionel's ones out of future Clark's life. I don't care about that selfish stupid girl who just care about herself and her love interest of the moment, that curiosly NEVER is her actual couple. The writers should have kept these two moving progressively apart following Jonathan Kent's death and shown Clark growing out of her and maturing into his heroic destiny. Please save what's left of Smallville by having these two part their ways.
I agree. I've been tired of the run arounds with this romance. I want the Clois which we are starting to see, but I hate it when they push Clana right back at stage one, when it was in back stage for a long time... I wish for them to STOPClana... I love the actors, just hate the shipper...

It's over and done. It was cute in the beginning but Lana as a character has been ruined. Clana has turned Clark into a selfish, immoral, whiny character. Clark without Lana is the Man who will be Superman.
The Clana may have been interesting - even compelling at some point in the past, but that moment has long ended. Now it's just driving beating a dead horse, keeping these two characters wrapped up in a relationship that is both stale and ultimately self-destructive for both. We haven't had a healthy interaction between these characters in well over a season; it's time to let both of them move on and focus more on the journey of Clark to Superman - not Clark-the-lovesick-puppy to Clark-the-obsessive-stalk er-who-has-absolutely-no- moral compass. And that's in his better episodes.The series - the story - still has such potential. It's time to get off the past and look to the future.
When a guy who's been experimented on, killed, seen his father and wife die AND seen his home destroyed says that the worst thing he's ever experienced is being left by a girl he barely dated, there's a problem. When said guy becomes so obsessed with that girl that he endagers the lives of friends, family and total strangers to appease her fickle will, there's a bigger problem. Lana brings out the worst in Clark; she inspires him to act rashly and immorally, which doesn't bode well for this version of Superman.
I really hated Lana since the first time that I sold her. And I think that the only thing that she did right on the whole show was saying to Clark that the best stories starts with fight, talking about the only and real love for Clark: Lois Lane. Im as a Smallville fan been waiting for Lois and Clark and Im now getting tired that Lana is still on the middle. Clarks already a grown up man, and is just annoing to watch him around Lana when she's just NOT Lois!
Do kill clana for god's sake! It is so boring and predictable, and their relationship just became a dead weight for the series. Besides, Clana is the epitome of media Mary Sues. Yeah, she's AlMiles big, ugly Mary Sue.
well we ve all seen that in season 6 finale lex is accused of murdering lana but unfortunately something tells me that lana is still alive and that the car explosion was just her idea in order to put lex in prison. well thats what i think and REALLY hope it s not true !!!
