I love this show, just as I have loved every other smart, fast-paced, slightly off-beat show including (but not limited to) Sports Night, Seinfeld, Northern Exposure, and West Wing, just to name a few. I look forward to Monday nights for Studio 60. I watched the pilot no less than 5 times, and I've seen every other episdoe at least twice (thanks to the miracle of Tivo). Please, PLEASE, PLEASE do not cancel Studio 60.
This is one of the smartest and funniest shows to be aired in a long time,reminds me of when a different network cancelled "Love Monkey" a similarly smart show. What's up with the "Dumbing Down of America" All these networks want is instant gratification, if this were always the case M*A*S*H* would have never made it out of season one, let alone run 13 years and become the highest rated show of all time to this day, some 30 years later!
This show is sooo interesting. This one and "Grey's" are the only ones I even care about. BIG mistake in cancelling this show. It is the wittiest show I've seen in a LONG time...please keep it up!
C'mon NBC! I'm a loyal viewer and I think this is your best season in a LOOOONG time. Don't blow it by cancelling Studio 60. This show is actually smart. I still haven't forgiven you for cancelling Freaks and Geeks either.
NBC, do NOT make the mistake of cancelling great television. What America does not need is another cliche mob drama. Spare us all the agony, and put Studio 60 back on! Rebember shows like Seinfeild, that didn't pick up until the second season...and didn't even make the Nielson Ratings until the second season.
NBC need to accept that some shows appeal to a smaller demograph. If all they want is top ratings then they will end up appealing to the lowest common denominator (ie, the reality tv watching masses).
Please don't kill this show. Move it to a less important timeslot and keep us all happy.
I thought the cast worked very well together, espescially Matt and Danny. I couldn't wait till Monday at 10:00 for the next show. I don't watch Heros and will not watch "The Black Donallies" or what ever the show is called I'm simply not interested in that show. I'll miss "Studio 60".
I hope that america has not gotten so used to watching so many shows that are basically the same, that when something original and entertaining comes along we just we throw it to the wayside. The actors and writing for this show is unique and witty. This kind of show is exactly what people were waiting for to take them away from there daily grind and relax. Now NBC wants to cancel it, I just dont understand the corporate tv world I guess. So do all us a favor and leave this show on the air.
Sad, this show might have a smaller rating. But we all know that this is a much more educated audience. Higher education equals more dollars spent on products advertised. Hopefully you guys can get another good game show, I think Tony Danza is available to host!! Sad.... just sad.
Studio 60 is one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. This show must be saved b/c it has touched my heart in many ways and who can truely say that about some of the other shows out there today. NBC-if you will just market the show a little more people will see what they're missing--if it wasn't for me coming across it on my own I might have never seen it b/c I rarely see an add for it in the NBC emails I receive almost everyday. Again, please listen do your audience and don't cancel this show!

Studio 60 and The Office are the only two shows I watch on NBC. It is sad, really, because I used to watch only NBC shows (Friends, The West Wing, Law & Order). This is some of the most intelligent writing on network television, delivered by some of the most talented actors working today. NBC's decision to cancel this show indicates a very disappointing answer to one of the main questions presented by Studio 60: Can intelligent comedy and drama exist on a network that is more interested in "Search and Destroy" and the like? Shame on NBC for believing your viewers are stupid. I hope the show gets picked up by HBO.
Studio 60 is a breath of fresh air!!! Does every show have to be violent or sexual in nature for people to consider it a success?! Not to mention all of the redundant crime shows flooding the airwaves!! This is a smart and emotional show that doesn't rely on gratuitous violence and sex to fill a script. Is this what the industry has come to?? Who makes the decision to cancel a show that might appeal to an intelligent demographic and not the mindless masses? Do we really need more CGI shows on the air-that also seems to be a "successful formula" for a great show!! I do not have a great deal of time to spend on television so I choose my shows very carefully. What a waste to think I have invested my time into this show only for it to be cancelled without a least being given a better time slot. Most people are not fired from their jobs without at least given an opportunity to improve!!! I think this show at least deserves that! Wake up network execs-you just might be wrong for once in your life!!! And for the record, I have no interest in watching the Black Donnellys. Just another crime and violence ridden show. Come on-require more of your writers. Stop using all of these fillers and get back to intelligent television-like for example say Studio 60!!!!!
Please, please keep this show! It is the best thing on TV and makes Monday night the best night of TV on NBC (along with Heroes)! Here is to all the supporters and those who like both Monday night shows!
+I can not understand this at all. Studio 60 is one of the best show on TV period. I am truly tired of watching a show and enjoying it to the point of a belly gut laugh only to be told that you do not feel it is getting the best rating....If I remember correctly Cheers was the worst ratings show in it's first year only to end it's eleventh year at number 1. You truly are going to regret this decision when the the Golden Globes come out and it receives all these nominations for writing and acting. I have read a few comments about boycotting NBC and I think I will be one to do so....I love Heroes and other shows but if you did this to Studio 60....then I feel you will do it to other shows.....I will not watch NBC again...I can not believe you are dropping this show....My only hope is that TNT, FX, or HBO even will see how great of a show it was and will pick it up.
Studio 60 is the ONLY reason I watch Monday night television. It's smart, it's funny, and it's the best thing on network television. Keep the quality alive, save Studio 60.

I have been a religious watcher of both "Heroes" and "Studio 60". Monday night is my favorite night of television. I think NBC has made a horrible decision here. I believe the promotions were not enough and the company should be at fault for its supposed decline, not the actors and viewers.
this show is better than most shows on TV. including ER, LOST (which you need to have never missed an episode to be able to follow), SVU, and many others. The characters are believable and true. This show needs to at least finish its run. Then if it is cut, I will purchase the season DVD.
I love watching Studio 60. I'm not a big fan of Mondays, but I find myself looking forward to Monday because of this show. I like Heroes too, but I get more excited when 10 o'clock comes around.
Do not cancel this show! People will start watching if you advertise/place in a better timeslot. It is one of the top five shows on television right now. Please give it one more season!!!
Not all TV shows are going to be as inexpensive to create as "reality" and evening game shows. People want to see shows with some good writing & good acting. Keep them around!!
I record alot of TV to watch in spare time. This is the only show I look forward too every week and can't wait for it to air. Best writing in along time! just needs more marketing, better time..
This is easily the best show on television right now, NBC. You need to give this more of a chance, and find a better time slot for it, possibly 10:00pm Thursdays instead of the long-passed-it's-prime "ER". There's no better writing, acting, or characters on TV, and it's the only show I habitually watch every week, and then continually watch on it's website afterwards. Taking this show off-the-air would be disastrerous for great television everywhere. Save it, promote it correctly, and give it the correct backing it deserves. I don't care if "Heroes," is popular, it's a remake of X-Men, and even it's fans know, it doesn't need to be on every week for two hours. Give Studio 60 the same promotion you gave "Scrubs" a few years ago when it was failing, and give the whole series a couple nights on TV. It will get the ratings the show deserves.
Super smart writing, an excellent cast, and the worst time slot. There aren't any other shows that I watch on NBC. Studio 60 has gone far beyond the expectations that I had when I started watching the show.

How can NBC take this show off the air?? Shows are too few that have the writing and acting that are as intellectual as Studio 60. This will force me to keep watching "West Wing" on DVD since they don't show it on Bravo anymore. I hope you will see the light and at least move it to another time or one of your cable outlets.

I am a college student and I know that on campus there are tons of people who watch Studio 60. Also, if one looks at iTunes, new Studio 60 eps are constantly in the top 10 most downloaded, so it definitely has a strong fan base. I wish NBC would give it another chance, at least for one more season. I mean, Sports Night even got more than one and that show's ratings were lower the whole time!
Why do they always cancel the shows that require a little brain power to enjoy. I love the quick banter and controversial story lines. Finally a show that leaves us thinking, and is entertaining too! Of course it has to be cancelled...the networks think only stupid people watch t.v.!!!
Studio 60 is one of the few programs today that uses intelligene and humor to catch its audience. Really, it needs to stay on the air. With the dwindling quality of television today, this show is a saviour!
This is my favorite show on television right now. It is witty and intelligent, the dialogue is superb. The cast is amazing. Please save this show, I am tired of all of the insipid programming as of late, do we really need another reality show or crime drama or family saga! No we need Studio 60!!!!
NBC is nuts if they cancel the best new show they've had on the air in years!! We love Studio 60 and all the characters - real, intelligent - a wonderful show! It's one of only 2 shows we watch on non-cable channels (this and Las Vegas) -we hate reality TV. This show is the best - please keep it on the air!!
