Studio 60 is THE BEST thing on TV this year. The writing, the cast, the chemistry is unparalleled! Please, please give it a chance--it will win Emmys and be talked about for years if you will just give it time and a little publicity.
PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL!!!!!This show is on the fence because people don't want to use their brains. Please don't cancel just because of them, there are still those of us out here who love non "reality" TV. This show is great!!!
Every show i have liked has been on NBC, and NBC keeps canceling them. Now I have supported NBC through and through, but if they choose to cancel Studio 60, I might have to discontinue watching the network totally!
Studio 60 is one of the best written, best acted dramas on television. It just needs a little more time to find some ground. If you have to do something, trying switching its timeslot. I'll watch it anywhere anytime. Television cannot afford to lose this show... and neither can NBC. Please don't cancel it.
Studio 60 is a great show, so please don't cancel!!!! It had a good time slot right after Heroes. The show you are replacing it with isn't my kind of show. So ater watching Heroes I'll be tuning out at 10pm.
This is a great show. The cast has wonderful chemistry and the story lines are interesting. I am so sick of the "reality" idiocy, that I actually had hope for network tv when I saw the first episode of Studio 60.I am not a major tv watcher, so I had not realized that so many shows that I do like had nearly been canceled after the first year. I hope Studio 60 is given a reprieve and will be back.
Don't cancel this! It's my favorite show on the air right now, and I can't imagine how it could be any better. This is a show about quality television and how it rarely exists-and low and behold this is a quality show! It would be far too ironic to cancel this!
Please show us that NBC has a soul and is capable of prioritising art over revenue. Reality TV will be the death of popular culture and only intelligent, well scripted, thought provoking shows like Studio 60 can save it. To cancel it would be the highest form of lunacy.
Studio 60 is the only show I watch on television. Nothing else can compare to Sorkin's writing. Taking this show off the air is just a reaffirmation of the rant in Episode 1.
This is such a great show. I'm loyal fan for "Friends" and I don't wanted to see any other show, and finally I started watching new show that i liked, because of incredibel writting and really talanted cast!And story that s60 run is so exciting! please don't take it us, keep in the air studio 60!
So...NBC is cancelling both 30 Rock and Studio 60? It seems that everytime I find a tv show which is not targeted to the lowest common denominator, it gets cancelled. Take, for instance, Freaks and Geeks on NBC, or Arrested Development on FOX. Haven't the execs over at NBC seen Ricki Gervais' EXTRAS? Shows like Two and a Half Men might have the conventional ratings, but they certainly don't have respect from the industry. Plus, what about downloads and tivo? I thought that Studio 60 was one of the most downloaded shows. I know at least 3 people that download it instead of watching it during its truly crappy time slot...PLEASE DON'T CANCEL THIS SHOW!!
If nothing else, at least forward this petition to HBO (also a Time Warner company) and convince them to pick up the show. HBO + Studio 60 = perfect combination.
KEEP STUDIO 60 ALIVE. It is alive, funny, smart, interesting, well written and acted. It is a bright spot on network television. Maybe, it should be moved to CABLE!!!!!!
More proof why the best shows are on cable. Give S60 a real chance and you'll see the ratings improve. Plus, isn't there value in knowing you'd be providing the type of quality and intelligent viewing that this country needs more than ever?
The Execs at NBC must be out of their minds to cancel this show! It's literally the best show on television, the acting is incredible and the writing is off the charts amazing! It's tragic that shows like the “Bachelor” get to stay on the air b/c IDIOTS and MORANS watch them! While those of us with higher IQs who appreciate smart wit are left with NOTHING to watch. BRING STUDIO 60 BACK! PLEASE! Additionally, it's not fair to be left in the middle of all these story lines. "4am Miracle" was such a Fantastic episode but it left so much unanswered. The remaining 6 episodes MUST be aired! It's truly unjust to the fans of Studio 60 to be left without finding out how Season 1 ends.
Do not cancel the show, NBC. It's smart and it has an audience, a small one, but an audience. Let it slug it out with it's own audience like a little showed called "Seinfeld" did. You didn't cancel "Seinfeld" and it became your most successful show, give "Studio 60..." that same chance.
This is the only new show of this season that I actually watched. It is so well written and acted. I actually cancel plans if the conflict with me watching Studio 60.
Honestly NBC remember a little known show called "The West Wing" that started out with "ok" number and then took off? Please give this show a chance and look at the number of folks who not only watch it live, but watch it through Tivo as well. I think your number crunching will show that it does far better than the ratings say it is doing.
Although I am not in your targeted demographic,I thoroughly enjoy S60. I had just about given up on ever seeing TV aimed at adult viewers after The West Wing "left the building", but I was wrong. Thank you,Mr.Sorkin,for knowing what Adults need,which is not another mindless sitcom with canned laughter,or "real" TV,but a show that makes us laugh and makes us think. The topics that are introdued each week are topics that are discussed the next day at work. Sometimes I agree with the writers and sometimes I don't;however,there is always something worth discussing. I,like many others, will follow you wherever you go. Just don't go near the shortsighted people at NBC who are omly interested in the bottomline. Find some Adults who will understand and support you.And if that is HBO,then so be it. Leave the networks to the mindless masses.
Please keep Studio 60 on the air. It's one of the smartest shows on TV, and I, for one, am sick of having to watch bad TV that plays to the lowest common denominator. Not to mention it's a Sorkinshow, so it needs more than one season to really get started. Please keep our show on!!
Give this show a chance. When it went off last night I turned my TV to another channel and decided I would not was NBC again until Studio 60 comes back.
Dumb move, NBC. A great show, excellent cast, superior dialogue, and you wanna give it a time slot on Monday nights, starting against Monday Night Football at 10pm? Come on people. Give it a 9am time slot and run it on Wednesday/Thurday, and a show will be born. I mean come on - 'Joey' ran for two seasons with sub-par ratings and you are going to cancel Studio 60, a show that drives away from the doldrums of mainstream drama - hospitals, doctors, lawyers, investigators? Please reconsider...

I love this show! The characters and writing are excellent. I haven't enjoyed a TV drama like this since West Wing went off the air. The characters are awesome-the dynamic between the cast is evident and I think it pulls the show together. The writing is also excellent, to me, it flows. Please don't cancel this show, I love it and it's the only show the keeps me watching NBC.
My daughter introduced me to this show and I think it is wonderful. Well written, beautifully acted and a real pleasure to watch. Cancellation would be a huge mistake on your part. This show delivers you an audience you wouldn't get otherwise.
This show is the wittiest and smartest show I've watched since they cancelled The West Wing. I actually pay attention when this show is on. I can't say that about very much on TV. Please don't take that away from us.
