I will not start watching The Black Donnellys until I know if I can still watch Studio 60 On the Sunset Strip! It was the only thing on TV I could look forward to watching on Monday nights. :( Please don't cancel one of the few shows you have that are worth watching!
This is a great show that deserves time to develop and grow. The writing is top notch and we really enjoy watching something that challenges us to think! Give the rest of America time to catch up!
Please allow Studio 60 to find a home and larger audience, but don't cancel it. Remember all those great shows from the past that took a few seasons to catch on? This is a great show.
Please do not cancel creative, intelligent shows and replace them with cheap reality trash. Studio 60 uses words with more than four letters and forces people to think.
Please keep this show on the air. We have excrutiatingly little intelligent entertainment without it! West Wing was the last best show on TV and you'd killed that. Please don't repeat mistakes of the past!!!
Studio 60 is a fantastic show - full of creativity, brilliance, wit, comedy, and talent. I started watching it so I could follow Matthew Perry, but then I ended up falling in love with the whole cast, the writing, and the premise of the show. Please don't cancel it - it's one of the only amazing shows left.
PLEASE DON'T CANCEL!
This show should not be replaced by another violent, "soprano" type show...don't we have enough violence on the TV? Why can't there be intelligence, wit and drama all in one show?
PLEASE SAVE STUDIO 60. We love the cast, writer and director.
I love Studio 60. I can't wait each week for Monday...(I never thought I'd say that). Please don't cancel this show. Find it another time slot instead of canceling it. Get rid of Deal or No Deal on Mondays...who needs to watch a game show two nights a week? Studio 60 is the BEST show on TV!
This is the best show you have had since the West Wing. Don't cancel another great show. This brought me back to watching NBC, but only on Monday's at 10 pm. S60 goes, I go to, for good!! NBC will be a blocked channel in my house.
In this age of reality drivel, this show has been a beacon of hope to those of us who crave intelligent drama, sparkling dialogue, and fabulous casting. *Please*, give this show the chance to flourish that it so richly deserves.
If I only had one hour per week to watch television, I'd spend it watching Studio 60. Re-runs of this incredibly witty, smart, well-acted show that makes its viewers really care about the characters, is better than 90% of first-run 'entertainment' the TV watching public has been taught to accept. The Black Donnellys may be an exceptional show, but I won't be watching it - unless Studio 60 finds a new home with a different time slot.
PLEASE DO NOT CANCEI!
BRING IT BACK!
The show is well written, creative, clever and very entertaining. The acting is superb. There is enough violence on tv-we don't want the proposed show to air. My husband and will not be watching The Black Donnelly's.
Smart show, smart writer, smart director. Can you be at all surprised when your audience is smart enough to TiVo it? Try more product placement. Your audience is smart enough to catch on. Cancel this show: ratings of Heroes drops.
Seriously, this is one of the best shows on the air in a long time. I think it was a bad idea to place right after Heroes, but at another time, I think the ratings would skyrocket. Please find a way to get it back on the air.
I love this show. We have threads about this show on several non-tv-oriented websites. This is one of the few intelligent shows left. It is disappointing that so many decent shows are cancelled. Keep this show.
This show is the most intelligent show I've seen on television. With shows like "Jerry Springer" clogging up the airwaves, Studio60 deserves a chance. I haven't missed a show since the premiere. I know one thing is for sure. I'm not going to be watching "The Black Donnellys" next monday or ever.
Please don't cancel this show. It will find it's stride. Some of us out here in viewer land like to be challenged. Some of us like to think as we watch a show. Please don't let it become the next Sports Night. CSI Miami is for the brain dead masses who don't want to use their brain, unless it is for deciding who their favorite American Idol is.
Please keep this show on the air. Don't penalize the fans because we enjoy smart, witty, humorous, cynical, and sarcastic turns of phrase. Give it time and you will find a very loyal, stable fan base.
I am so disappointed by the cancellation of Studio 60. I waited for the show to come back after the holiday break and now it's gone? The show has had little to no promotion, was put in a poor time spot with no reruns during the season break to bring in new viewers -what was the rational to the lack of marketing? NBC should at least finish the season for the viewers. I won't be watching "The Black Donnellys" NBC.
This is an amazing show, and does not deserve to be canceled! Just because the general public cannot appreciate the genius of it, we, the devoted following, should not be punished! I say move it to a different night, or make it a different time! Try it at 9 on some night and see how that works! Do not give up on it half way through the first season!!! After all, Seinfeld only became big on the second or third season, and who hasn't seen at least one episode of Seinfeld?? Furthermore, if NBC cancels this show, I am never ever ever watching NBC again!!!
Studio 60 has a loyal following among well-educated, high-earning viewers. Cancelling the show will be a huge mistake. Find another timeslot and ensure you maintain a loyal audience.
Dear Mr. Zucker & co.,
Brandon Tartikoff is rolling over in his grave.
On the plus side if they promote you any higher you won't be in charge of TV shows anymore.
Grow some balls.
This show is the best show to hit TV in a very long time. YOu havent given a long time to run and you put it up against CSI Miami. That's an fair test run!
It's kind of ironic that NBC shows a smart and funny show that appeals to intelligent people - then decides to cancel it because the majority of Americans don't understand the wit. Cancelling this show is the by far one of the most ignorant decisions that NBC has made.
This show is amazingly well written. The actors have a keen sense of excecution. There is no better comedy, and the drama only adds to the level of enjoyment. Why not Tuesdays?
NBC seems to be catering to the undereducated and illiterate American majority in their decision to cancel S60. It is one of only a handful of shows being produced lately that show that people can be intelligent, witty, and satirical all at the same time.
Studio 60 should be saved. NBC can't you see the audience is growing weekly? Does anyone at NBC read the NBC Studio 60 board? Does anyone read the letters we send, lesten to the calls or even watch Studio 60?
