WHAT?? I was shocked to hear that it was going to be cancelled. Best New show on! It's not like NBC has a "Friends" or a "Sienfeld" to replace it. What gives?
this show is incredibly good. i cant understand why eating bugs makes a good show, but smart dialouge and fantastic acting can't make a lasting show...
this show actually makes people think, and realizes that people who like telivision are not always idots, or people who need a cheap thrill. dont cancel the best show of the past season. my favorite show, and give some intelligent people a chance to watch t.v.
The quality of the show in unquestionable. It may piss off someone because of the political issues that sometimes the show addresses. Hey, that's America, where did the First Amendment and its Freedom of Speech go?
Please do not cancel "Studio 60"...it is one of the best shows on television, and I tune in faithfully every week! Please give this smart, engaging, funny drama a second season, and keep Aaron Sorkin's amazing writing on television!
It figures, right? While 'unintelligent/illitera te" programming survive, it is Studio 60 that has be saved. This show is the most well written and well acted show out there and it deserves to be saved.
This is one of the most well written shows we have on television. Its a good way of expressing how many of us felt about SNL lately. Why cut this when you have so many other shows that are so amazingly bad to cut (i.e. According to Jim (or another show where a stupid, fat guy has an annoyed hot wife))
NBC please be a Jordan McDeere and do not cancel the show. This is your best asset yet. And the ONE and ONLY show I watch and arrange my schedule for. Keep it going. Thank you.

Yes, it's slight creative License with another show's catch phrase, and if WE would have had HALF their advertising budget, perhaps we'd have a considerably equivalent portion of their following as well (and if more methods were used in equal measure to track this, we might not be so far off after all!)

This is the best show on TV right now. Just two seasons ago, I watched NBC every night of the week. Now, this, Scrubs and Heroes are the only NBC shows I still watch. By concentrating on dumber shows, you are alienating your audience.

Studio 60 is amazing, and one of the best shows on TV. The cast is wonderful and the writing is above anything else on TV. I love this show. It should not be cancelled. We need more shows with this level of writing, acting, sense of humor, and intellect.
Hasn't NBC ever heard of the 80-20 rule? 20% of your viewership do 80% of puchasing that your advertisers are looking for? It's great that mindless shows have billions of viewers, but what good is that if those billions earn under $20,000 a year and have no disposable income. You need to position intelligent shows like this with advertisers of high end products. Intelligent shows draw intelligent, high earners with disposable income. Exactly the demographics your advertisers should be paying a premium for. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to position advertising time on an intelligent show.....there aren't many out there for advertisers to choose from.
Studio 60 is the only network show that I watch regularly. Other than that, most of the quality shows are on HBO.
I can't believe that NBC is letting this fine show die on Monday nights. Why not experiment with a different time slot (and why haven't they done this earlier in the season)? Or run a three-episode block on a Saturday night like they've done with "Heroes"?
C'mon, NBC .... it would be a tremendous waste to see Studio 60 canceled.
I've NEVER done this before. I've never signed a petition to save a TV show. I mean, who cares REALLY, right? But this show...
This is one of the few shows on network TV that promotes SMART. Som many shows promote the "dumb blonde", or the "Clumsy guy"... But this show makes SMART look good. And the networks wonder why the good shows go to cable. THIS is why. Let it cultivate, just a little.

I think this is a tremendous cast and they deserve a chance to show what they can do together. Enough with "Heroes"...people are already watching. Let other audiences know what's going on at "Studio 60".

Are you kidding me,hundreds of hours of drivel that I won't watch and NBC wants to cancel one of the best shows in the history of television, Studio 60. Please don't do this to me!! This is sadder than the demise of Sports Night.
This show really is getting better every week. There is so much potential in developing these characters, it would be asinine to take the show off the air permanetly. I'm starting to think the haters of this show just don't have the capacity to "get" it.
Please do not cancel this show. You have many more viewers than you think. Your ratings to not accurately reflect the many who record this show to watch when they can really enjoy it. I watch and tape. It is the best show on your network since West Wing. Please give it a chance to grow. You have a gold mine if you would just take the time to properly market it. Do not cancel this show. Studio 60 just started here in Ireland, I expect to view every episode and as with 7 series of the West Wing I will purchase the DVD box sets.

I love watching Studio 60 and never miss an epp. I have all the epps on my DVR & always watch the preceding week's epp before the new one.
Like most people, I dont know what's happening with the show. I am very interested in supporting the show and would happily sign the petition.
If, however, NBC sees fit to cancel studio 60, I will NEVER watch another new show on the network. I am tired of getting into and enjoying greats shows like Sportsnight, Mr Sterling & Studio 60, only to have the network cancel them.
Bottom line people is NBC is a business and only look at retaining shows by determining how profitable they are. Unless you get a few million confirmed legit people to sign the petition, the network wont give a darn.
So here is my approach. If they cancel studio 60, stop supporting the network. There are two ways to do this?
1) By not watching their shows (Current & to be shown).
2) By informing their advertisers you no longer watch the network because they cancel the shows the public enjoy watching.
Look at the christian right. They get their way often enough by organizing their flock to attack companies where they are most sensitive, in their wallet. They send out emails, write letters, etc to both the network & the network's advertisers.
You want NBC to listen, start writing their advertisers and saying "We like your product, but cant support you because you support a network that operates against the wishes of their viewers.
Maybe if we can start taking away advertising revenue, NBC will start doing what politicians stopped doing years ago - listening to their constituents.
There are plenty of shows out there. Granted most are not in 60's league. But if what we enjoy and support isn't important to the network, maybe we need to show them what an unhappy viewer base is capable of.

Wake up overpaid, under IQ'd NBC execs! Give the show time. Move it OFF of Monday nite to Friday nite. Yes, I said Friday. Think it through, it makes sense. It's a brilliant show. Don't give in to those with IQ's of the bottom third of Chia Pets!
i've sat by watching my favourite shows be cancelled season after season, but not this one, this is the best show on television so please don't cancel it!
This show is the highlight of my week - I love the intelligent writing, the characters are real. The shows that are beating it are the mindless blood and guts drivel that apparently appeals to the masses. How about a change of time to give the show a chance to find its own audience - can anyone remember Homicide: Life On the Streets? They struggled for years but was one of the best written shows on TV. I vote for intelligence!!!!! Keep the show.
This show is such a refreshing change of pace from the normal drivel we find on tv. Please do not give up on this fine show, it's premium ensemble or it's integrity in writing.
This is the best show to come along in years. I have(!) to watch it, and I do not like most television.
Writing has been uneven of late as it appears Sorkin is taking less of an interest.
Nonetheless, an absolute special show, to be watched over and over and over.
