This show just needs to be tweaked. Hire some decent comedy writers to actually make the sketches funny. Give us some more conflict that doesn't involve Matt and Harriet. It's a great show that just needs some work.
The show had such high expectations and when it didn't meet them, as ridiculously high as they are, that became all that the press would say about the show. They couldn't come back from that, no matter how hard they tried. It's a brilliant show with a fantastic sense of humor. Don't cancel this gem of a show. This is a show with more class and wit than anything else on the air.
This show is A-MAZING!!! Since Friends ended, I wasn't sure I was gonna be able to see my LOVE Matthew in all his glory on TV anymore, and then this show truly did it!! The dialogue is clever and witty and the love stories are ADORABLE!! I really hope this show stays on for a LOOOOONNNG TIME!
Props to NBC for taking a chance on this show. Even bigger props if you keep it on the air, and trust the intelligence of your viewers. Let them do a show about TELEVISION . . . it will say a lot about you as a network.
This is one of the few shows on TV that treats people like they have brains! The only thing even close is Grey's Anatomy. Please give Studio a 9:00 time slot and promote it like you did at the start of the season.
Studio 60 is a classy show with great acting and writing. It is one of two shows that are appointment TV for me, Please give it more time to find an audience.
I feel that Studio 60 is a show worthy of at least a full season. When this show returns, I would hope that it is given a better time slot (earlier perhaps) and definitely more promotion because many people think it is already cancelled. Thanks for your time...RK
PLEASE don't take this show away! America needs shows that don't treat everyone like they're morons! Studio 60 appeals to those of us that have enough of a brain to understand, and there are a lot more of us than there are those that don't get it.
This show will be a world wide hit if it it's allowed to continue long enough to be sold on the world wide market. I know this because everyone in the UK who has seen an episode has loved it and is surprised that shows this intelligent and witty are still being made.
I need my Dolphin Girl fix. Studio 60 is the only place I can find animal impressions and great Aaron Sorkin dialogue in one place. I hope it continues.
This is an amazing show. Just becasue it is not number one, there is still an audience out there that enjoys a higher end television series. It just needs time to develop
Please don't take one of the most intelligent shows airing right now off the air so you can make room for more reality (stupid) tv or some Sopranos wannabe show. Seinfeld wasn't a hit from the beginning and look what it did for your network.
I realize there's very little chance this will make any difference, but for what it's worth, I reall enjoy Studio 60. If the show has in fact been cancelled, I hope you'll reconsider. Thank you.
This show is on just a bit too late for my work schedule, but I suck it up the next day at work just so I don't miss the show. Don't let the fact that people are using their DVR confuse you in to believing that people aren't watching.
This show is an amzazing show and it is the only show that I look foward to every week as do alot of other people. It has excellent acting and excellent storylines. Give it a chance!
My wife and I watch this show faithfully every week. The Christmas episode was one of the most talked about shows in my office for the next week. It's smart, intelligent TV, with a good pacing to the show. Just because it's about a comedy show, doesn't mean that it can't have drama. I would recommend less of the love interest story, and more activity surrounding the weekly show itself, though.
I was a little late getting into the season, but the show is a hit. It'll definitely pay to see how many people view the show online via NBC or other sources. Aaron Sorkin is one of my all-time favorite writers. To see how successful his "West Wing" was, NBC must have realized that this guy was behind it all. Anything Aaron puts his mind to is a hit in my book. My suggestion, tru a different time slot if need be, but KEEP STUDIO 60!!!
This show is an amazing show. It demonstrates some of the wittiest lines on television, and its acting is unmatched in its sheer talent. Destroying such a masterpiece would be a sore loss to humanity.
Studio 60 is the only new show that I watch and I love it. Quick witted dramedy deserves a shot. We need well written shows like Studio 60 to combat all of the reality and game shows that are currently clogging our TVs.
This show is the highlight of my night! And I'm in love with Heroes right before it, so that's saying SOMETHING!
Please reconsider cancellation! Move it and I will follow, but do not pull it off the air!
Studio 60 is one of the very few series available on television which combines good writing, good acting and an approach to the medium which challenges the viewer as much as it entertains. To lose this series would be a serios blow to the cause of intelligent, enjoyable television. If it were to be cancelled, I would seriously consider never watching NBC again.
NBC, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING??!! You are throwing away one of the best shows on TV that attracts one of the most intelligent audiences of TV viewers. Is this your way of telling us that you could care less about your audience and it is just about the bottom line?
The cast of Studio 60 is awsome, the writing is great, the deserve better advertising and a better time slot. I tape it because it is on to late and watch it the next morning but I havn't missed an episode. NBC is crazy not to back this show!!!
Studio 60 was the only good show on TV anymore. NBC is full of idiot executives who don't care about quality programing, I think they need someone like Jordan running NBC!
Please leave the most intelligently written show of the season on the air. Give Studio 60 a chance to find its feet. Try it out on a new night- but don't cancel it.
Why are they killing a show that reaches the target marketing demographic of grown-ups with disposable income? Studio 60 and Friday Night Lights are the only shows I will follow around the schedule -- please find homes for them!
I love Studio 60. I love the characters and the writing. I can't understand why the show hasn't taken off. Please don't cancel it! If moving it to another night doesn't work, sell it to one of the lesser known networks - like the one Gilmore Girls is on.
DON'T JUMP THE GUN! Give Studio 60 a chance. Even great shows (i.e. Cheers) needed some time. If you would put it on a decent night. Otherwise, just continue to air new shows on Bravo.
