This show was not well received by the masses because it is smart and classifies as actual entertainment. It's not even been given a chance in another time slot. NBC waited out The West Wing...it wasn't highly rated in the beginning, but it was always GREAT, just like Studio 60. It is a brilliant show and a work of art. NBC is the network of Fear Factor. Come on NBC, redeem yourselves! There are a lot of reasons you are the lowest rated network. Studio 60 is not one of them!
Please bring back the show and give it a chance The show is amazing, the characters are great, and the writing is witty, intelligent, funny and refreshing, and the cast phenomenal. NBC has award winning performance in this show. NBC will never have a better cast then this and it should not be discarded without a real fighting chance.
This show was still a tadpole, NBC didn't even give it a chance to grow its legs..BRING IT BACK!! Let Studio 60 get a real chance to take more than a baby step...the show was barely out of character development. And the replacement show, The Black Donneley's..its been done over and over. NBC better save your ad $$ for Thursday nights, because nobody is watching any other night!
This is the ONLY night time show that my husband and I watch together. It's a very funny show for smart people! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do NOT take it off the air! I will just NEVER watch any NBC show again if this happens!
It's so smart and witty.. there are too many shows that are dumbed down. One of these days Network execs will realize the smart people like to watch tv too!!!
I will be so disappointed if this show is cancelled. This is one of 2 shows I find worth watching. Soon, I'll just sell my tv. Please do not cancel this show.
Anybody who is a tv junkie like myself knows this is the most well written an conceptually the best show on network television. Lost took a nose dive, desperate houswives has BEEN desperate, and now what 24!? Please!!
Please reconsider and maybe moving the shows time slot would hurt. But it would be a real shame to cancel Studio 60and keep Las Vegas.
I respectfully reqeust that NBC rethink cancelling Studio 60. Even at it's worst, the smart and funny writing of Studio 60 outshines most everything else on TV these days.

Please, please, please, do not ax this show. It is the next best thing to West Wing. Writing is great, the cast is great. The show is quick, intelligent and entertaining.
I have loved Studio 60 since the day it came on the air. It is well-written, funny, and has a great balance of differing view points/beliefs. Please keep it on the air!
I'm very crazy about this show
I can't even remember when was the last time I was that enthusiast about a series...! I think it's amazingly well-written, smart, funny. The rhythm is sweetly overwhelming, I love how the camera follows the actors through all the stage while they say these oustanding lines. The production is remarkable, the lighting are wonderful (I love the atmosphere), and so are the actors... each one of them is doing a really great job I think and now I'm really attached to the characters (Aaron Sorkin is a genius!).
Today's TV needs such great shows, and Studio 60 is unique.
I tried before to email the network whenI heard the news, to no avail, of course. Thank you for this!
Please reconsider and DO NOT cancel this wonderful show, full of interesting character, a beautiful set, quick lines, dry humor and intelligence.
Those that do not watch will not feel the loss, but obviously, there are many out there, such as myself and my husband and kids (in different cities), who wait weekly for this hour to happen. As someone else said, move it if need be, but don't let it go.
It would be nice to continue to enjoy a well-written show full of great characters. I don't watch any other network shows. Nothing is worth the time. Keep Studio 60 on the air.
This is the kind of show that starts slow - it deserves a chance. There are many of us out here who appreciate a well-written and issue-driven program which is also entertaining. Isn't that the POINT?
The cancellation of the finest show on television, regardless of network or cable station, is an outrage!
Studio 60 is the only show that I look forward to each and every week, and it is a time for me and my 14 year old daughter to sit and do something together. Not easy for a father and daughter to do. We both enjoy the show tremendously, consider it the finest writing, the best cast, the best group of characters to watch.
It is a pity that that so much drivel is on and promoted by the networks and excellent and intelligent show like Studio 60 are cut because the ratings "aren't there". Remember Star Trek and other shows that were brought back by audeince demand? This show, while it should never be in this situation to begin with, should be one of them.
NBC just lost one viewer for good, as I do not intend to watch that network again.
Noooooooooo!!!!! First the west wing, then the next best thing??? NBC, grow a sack, fill it with some balls, and remember how good Mr. Sorkin's works have been to you. Stick by S60, it will come good, much as TWW did back in the day. TV needs smartening up, not dumbing down.
This show is the only new show I've watched this season. Actually one of the only shows I watch. I love it!! Please keep it on the air. It is a quality show.
Please reconsider your decision to remove Studio 60 from your lineup. It is one of the very few shows on TV today that has clever, well written storylines. Please do not underestimate your viewers.
This is the type of show that can help a 3rd place network begin the process of climbing back into the game. Yes, you've heard it's intelligent, but it's also touched many people who are just now getting their friends to make the same discovery. Cancelling this program will only send a negative message to us, the viewers, that NBC isn't going to give quality a chance.
This show is one of the few that challenge my mind. Please don't cancel it. There are multiple shows out there that numb my mind. I'm to the point that I'm going to turn off my TV and increase my book time!
I strongly stand-up for the S60 show!The writers and Aaron Sorkin respect theirs audience by not putting cheap comedy and scenes, but gives us smart, intelligent comedy/drama. Keep the show on the air!
S60 is a fantastic, well-written, well-acted show that keeps me counting down the days until the next episode! It is by far my favorite show (as well as my roomate's), and the only show I refuse to miss every single week. This show needs time to grow to its full potential!

Please don't cancel this show! It may just need time to be discovered. I loved West Wing, yet did not begin watching it until the second or third season. Was Law and Order an immediate hit?
If anyone with authority ever reads this, I hope they realize the shows potential. Shows of this nature need time to find and build their audience. I hope that if NBC is incapable/unwilling to allow the show the time required period of time, that a smarter network will pick it up.
