Whoever is in charge of programming for NBC better make the smart decision and renew this show for a second season. It's easily the best writing on TV. Maybe it's just going to take some time to really catch on.
Do not cancel this show. It is too good, too smart, too well written and too well acted for you to give it up. One of the best shows on tv this season! NBC - stop being so lazy! Keep S60 on the air!
Please do not cancel Studio 60 - It is smart, witty and well-written. It is so much better than some of the other shows on TV. Intelligent shows can be successful - look at the West Wing!!
I am so sad! I love this show. It is such a great concept and 30 D Rock is no where close to the same league. I am disappointed in the lack of closure for those that have invested in and have been faithful to the show. I think it is comically ironic (but I'm not laughing) that NBC is "benching" Studio 60 because of ratings... considering the attitude of the show's characters toward NBS when they get heat over ratings.
As a long time fan of Aaron Sorkin and the West Wing I was so happy to have another series with intelligent drama and humor to watch. Please do not cancel it!
Broken record time. "Black Donnellys" may become a great show...BUT "Studio 60" IS a great show now. Sure, not every episode is 'Must Watch TV' but neither is almost any show on TV right now. We haven't missed an episode. We also will follow it wherever NBC puts it. Keep it on ther air.
What is wrong with TV today?! Studio 60 is unlike most shows; it has substance! It's witty, intelligent, and creative. The writing is extremely clever and mature. I'm sick of all the same old plotlines of soap operas and all those reality tv shows like 'The Amazing Race'. Just because there is actually a good quality show out there that does not have 40 million viewers does not mean it should be taken off the air without having a chance of gaining more viewers. Doesn't anyone care about the quality of television anymore?!!!
Please do not cancel this intelligent, witty show. Remember that it's audience, however small, is demographically desirable and likely has higher income and education. We are the people who advertisers want to reach!!
I really enjoy this show. The dialog is fun, the characters are engaging, and I look forward to watching each week. It has a permanent place on my DVR record schedule and will be sorely missed if taken off the air.

Please do not cancel "Studio 60." It is the best show on NBC. Move "Heroes" to the Sci-Fi channel where it belongs. "Heroes" is so fake because no one in real life has super powers. It does not take someone or something with super powers to save someone's life.
NBC, please do us a favor. If you really want to show nothing but mindless, reality-show, potty-humor garbage that attracts the high-dollar investment by targeting the lowest common denominator, do your intelligent highly-paid 18-40's a favor and don't EVER air shows like Studio 60. Every time you networks (seemingly by accident nowadays) stumble over a good show and get sppoked by one bad week, you people replace it with another piece of moronic garbage or reruns of crap we already don't watch. Do us the favor of never getting us hooked in the first place--if it wasn't for Studio 60, you would get any of my viewing time.
I go to work at 4:00 am and I would stay up late on Monday nights to watch Studio 60. This is the best show on television. Don't give up on it. NBC almost cancelled the number one comedy of alltime, Seinfeld. Thank goodeness you didn't bail on that so early and found it a place to strive. Please do the same for this show. If you cancel you'll be doing your audience a huge dis service. DO NOT CANCEL STUDIO 60!!!!
What is wrong with TV today, a smart program like Studio 60 gets canceled when Rachel Ray's talk show gets picked up around the country until 2010?! Please don't cancel it!!!!
Love the show, mostly because it gives a great look at a place I would love to work.. Well live improv comedy at least.. Love matt perry in it, amanda peet, and the rest of the cast.
This is an awesome show, it would be awful to take it off the air. It's smart, funny, and overall very entertaining! One of the only things worth watching!
Yes, the show has been inconsistent, but it's still twice as smart and twice as good as anything else on television. I know a number of people who watch no TV at all except for "Studio 60." Sorkin and company deserve one more season to make it work.
My husband and I could not believe it when after the end of the show this last Monday night, there were no previews for the next show. We can't believe S60 has been cancelled!! What a great loss to TV! With all the garbage that gets passed on TV today, why something as great as Studio 60 gets dumped?? BIG mistake! It will be missed a great deal! And I won't be watching Black Donnelly's. Will switch the tv off after Heroes from now on.
Wonderfully clever and funny show. It's a shame smart shows like this can't find a place among the overindulgence of american television. Heroes an okay show with a great premise but poor writing and plot development can somehow find a way to garner an audience and advertising but a wonderfully written and crafted show like Studio 60 falls by the network wayside. It would be a shame to have a show like this end.
This is one of the few shows that I completely enjoy. The dialogue is wonderful, the characters witty and the storylines enjoyable. It would be a disaster if a smart show like this was cancelled.
Save Studio 60! The ratings may not be high, but that's because a large portion of the audience watches the show online. Give Studio 60 a better time slot, publicize it more, and give it a real chance to pick up a following. Don't kill the best non-cable TV show in many years!
Why is it that shows that make us think while watching are the first to go? Great shows like Studio are hard to come by. Please rethink canceling the show and give it a better time slot.
nbc created must see tv again on monday nights....great characters, great acting, great stories on both heroes and studio 60. before these i only watched the brit coms on pbs anymore as network tv had become so lame.
I look forward to every episode of Studio 60 from the time it ends (my mental clock resets back to '7 days to go' in fact).
At least allow it to run until the end of the season and give it a proper ending!
You finally have a show that is different,an excellent cast that performes together so beautifully, the story line is good and the comedy is so unexpected,especially the episode that took place in Nevada, and the one with the animals in the studio is priceless. The writing is so clever. the guest stars are good with out the story revolving around them. There is no blood shed, car chases or special effects,just EXCELLENT WRITING, and ACTING,something there is just too little of on TV today. Please do not cancell it!!
I am so excited by this show. Give it time to develop it's characters, voice, and audience. so much potential, give it a chance! We will be loyal to it as long as it is on the air!
Studio 60 is the best written and has the best cast of any show on TV ever. It is the only show I watch every week. Please keep it on the air and don't give in to Law and Order shows forever. This show is smart, fast moving and something different. My family stops everything to watch it.
I can almost understand the logic behind these hiatus and possible cancellation decisions (low ratings, expensive show, little buzz) but having said that, the show has a devoted 'core' following which deserves to be rewarded for their patience and loyalty. In other words, move the show if you must to another time slot... but no matter what, do NOT cancel it. Thank you.
