The is the ONLY network TV show I tune into these days. Take this away and you will have lost me. It is so refreshing to have something a bit above the lowest common denominator. We are ALL smarter than you think we are.
you cannot cancel Studio 60. it is one of the few shows i still watch on TV. it has a great storyline and it is sooo witty. let it go and you'll be sorry. .
Studio 60 is an intelligent, believeable show that deserves the chance of finishing this season. The characters are smart and the actors are even smarter in following thru on the character work. There are enough shows on TV that involve tasteless reality drama. Studio 60 is what we want and need...escapism to the glamour of L.A. and the industry. Keep it on the air, please, for the fans.
NBC would be stupid to get rid of the best show on TV right now. Stupid.
This is my absolute favorite show that is on TV right now.
This kind of reminds me of another first-season-cancellation that happened to me before: Firefly.
Good Luck! CBS cancelled Love Monkey last year and NBC is doing the same to Studio 60 this time. I really hate Network TV. These shows would be fine on cable channels.
Studio 60 is one of the few shows I'll actually turn my tv on for. It's refreshingly witty, intelligent and not a crime drama. Make it work, television history will thank you. =)
MOVE IT TO A DIFFERENT TIME SLOT--THE SHOW IS GREAT--HEROES VIEWERS ARE NOT STUDIO 60 VIEWERS (GENERALLY SPEAKING) PLEASE GIVE IT ANOTHER CHANCE--YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY.
Please keep Studio 60 on the air. It took a while for people to tune in to West Wing, NBC threatened to cancel it it's first season as well. Studio 60 is the only show I care to watch: intelligent, human and thoughtful without violence or mean spiritedness. Please give us an alternative to the banal programming that has take over the airways.
It's the one show on TV that doesn't pander to the lowest common denominator--no gory dead bodies, no stupid hospital sex triangles, no cops or lawyers--how refreshing! It shows us that intelligence is still alive and well and living in Aaron Sorkin's well-appointed brain--please LISTEN to the intelligent minority for a change--ALSO, think about a new time slot, preferably NOT immediately following a show about adolescent superheroes, (geez-I'm not a network exec, but this seems like a no-brainer to me) Thanks for listening!
Studio 60 is destination TV and one of the very few. It is smart and you have to pay attention. Don't let it die Move it to another NBC property like Bravo or somewhere, but don't let it die!!!
S60 is by far one of my favorite shows on TV. I'm a big fan of Heroes, but I also don't feel my Monday nights are complete unless I watch S60. I love that it is a drama based around a comedy show. The humor is smart and actually forces its audience to have a brain. PLEASE KEEP STUDIO 60 ON THE AIR. I know you'll do the right thing NBC.
It's a great show. Intelligent and consistently raises the bar of today's television standards.
Last thing we need is another reality show or anything the like of which kills brain cells when you watch it.
The brilliance in writing and directing is only surpassed by the talent of the actors. Don't allow the same fate that begat 'SportsNight' to occur to this refreshing and amazing show. Please re-consider . . .
NBC - give this show the time to find it's audience!!! Remember Seinfeld? You gave it time to find its feet and got one of the most successful shows in history as your result. Studio 60 is fantastic! One of the few shows on tv these days that isn't "reality", violent or dealing with dead people CSI style, or some cheesy game show. It has characters that are worth the viewers' time, with wit and humor that can really be appreciated.
Keep the damn show! How could you not air any episodes over a month's time, then bring back studio 60 w/ little to no advertising? Horrible marketing over their at NBC. Thursdays have gone to hell already and Mondays just got a lot worse. Other than Heroes, NBC is just awful now!
Come on NBC. There are educated people with high incomes that watch, understand and appreciate this show. PLEASE don't let your advertiser's dollars go somewhere else.
This show is one of the best shows of this season...it deserves a chance to continue...NBC needs to support shows that are unique and well written...change the time slot and keep Studio 60 going
I simply cannot understand why you would cancel a show as cleverly written and unique as Studio 60. Perhaps a change in scheduling would be a better move than drastically deciding that the show should be cancelled. Also, if you want a show to succeed...you need to support it , in the way of good advertising and showing reruns during its own time slot...not other shows...ie) Heroes...We all know business is business, but let's try to retain some quality in today's television viewing...Studio 60 has this...please keep this show on the air
dude. if studio60 goes off the air i wont have anything to do on monday nights except schoolwork. thats not happeningg.. so...NO. i wont watch anything else on nbc again. ever. (except svu) SAVE THE HOTTIES OF STUDIO 60!!!!!!!!;););)
I beleive that this show in all honesty could easily win many awards if put into the correct time slot. Having it follow a "hit" show like Heros is not the smartest in my opinion. People are highly unlikely to keep there TV on the same station for more then an hour at a time and so right there it hurts this great show. Then you put in the fact that you actually have some of the best actors out there today and a very diversified cast as well with great material and some of the best writing there is and you have a winner here. This show is different then any of the other shows out there and the content it new and fresh because it is supposed to be fictional but we all know that it could easily be non-fiction which I think makes us watch and the way actors perform on it makes us buy into it and hooks us to watch it even more. With that please think about it instead of just looking at the rating because you would be losing one of the best shows out there along with probably some of the best actors out there. So just please change the time slot.
Don't cancel this show! Move it to another time slot NOT against one of the top 10 shows! Give it a chance to grow.... It deserves it. The cast is amazing and it has some of the best writing on tv!
This is probably the 3rd best show of the last 20 years after "The Larry Sanders Show" and "Arrested Development". Well written comedy is found few and far in between. If NBC doesn't want it, then shop the show around. If it's too smart for TV, stop dumbing down the rest of television with every other idiotic show on the air. If we couldn't save our Bluths, let's at least save Studio 60.
