I have watched Studio 60 from episode 1 and believe that it is the best show to grace TV in a long time. PLease, don't cancel this staple of my Monday evenings.
Please do not cancel. This is our absolute favorite show. Move it to a different time if necessary but please do not cancel. We only started watching Heroes because it is on before Studio 60.
Don't cancel this show! NBC has made no attempt to revive it. Try moving it to another night or another time slot. Anything but cancelling it! This is one of the most original shows on TV right now and to cancel it would be a slap in the face to viewers everywhere.
don't do the same thing that was done to arrested development. studio 60's a fantastic show. it's clever and witty and appeals to people with an iq over 80 who can understand vague references and quick paced dialogue. don't write it off for another lame, dumbed down drama. i know i won't be watching the replacement, simply out of spite.
I love this show, it has so much kindness woven into it. It is also very funny. It is a rare kind of humor that is very suttle and like "an inside joke. I just love new ways to laugh. It is such a smart show and should really be given some time to gain a larger veiwing. It is just so refreshing. I tell everyone I know that it is my favorite show ever and think they should watch. Please give it another chance.
I'm an upscale consumer who doesn't watch a lot of tv. Really like Studio 60 and watch it regularly. Let it build an audience (it's going to attract upscale, light viewers - you want them!)
There are too few excellent programs on network television now. Please do not reduce their number by cancelling Studio 60. The show stands out among it's mediocre contemporaries.
I couldn't agree more with Robert gorman. One of the few shows that isn't completly unrealistic and overly dramatic. It would be a huge mistake, and a massive step back in decent programming, to take this show off the air!
Don't cancel this show. It's one of the only shows that I have been able to get into. To cancel would make irritate me that I would not get to see how it ends.
I am a 31 year old male sports nut. And I watch Studio 60 over MNF! I even have TiVo and still watch it live.Can't get enough Aaron Sorkin Dialogue.
The characters believe that the American viewer is smarter than they are treated by networks, it would be nice if NBC actually believed this.
NBC and the commercial tv networks are digging their own graves by creating what they know are quality programming efforts only to allow the horrible attempts at advertising the show, timeslot inanity and fickle demographics to chart it's future. So PICK UP THIS SHOW, HBO!
The only reason I watch Heroes is so I can stay up to watch studio 60. The show is one of my only reasons for having a TV anymore. Please dont dump it.
Stuudio is just brillhant, an intelligent serie with drama and humor, i love that! And i learn from studio 60, with great actorr! I really love. DOn't cancel thsi show ;X
as i recall, "west wing" took a little while to gain a following. that turned out to be the best show on tv for a number of years. please give this show the same opportunity.
I love Studio 60. Nothing good has come out of NBC since Friends ended, but I am hooked to Studio 60. There are very few shows that I make it a point to see every week and this was one of them. Shame on you NBC if you let this one get away!
Keep Studio 60 on the air! Intelligent dialogue, wit, drama...all the things Sorkin is known for. Studio 60 is an oasis in the desert of American TV...game shows, "reality" shows, one-liner laugh track sit-coms. Do the right thing for the show, it's viewers, and the networks reputation...keep Studio 60 on the air!
I will admit that I would like to watch The Black Donnellys, but if it is taking Studio 60 away or testing the audience from Heroes, I am boycotting it. We live in a world that needs Studio 60, to remember that there are still intelligent people out there that work for a living and don't just eat bugs and try to marry some stranger. It is a fantastic show and it needs no superpowers to overthrow it's purpose. Move it to Thursdays and watch it's audience fly...put Scrubs back on Tuesdays and 30 Rock somewhere else and you will see The Office/ER followers jump right on to the Studio 60 bandwagon...PLEASE!
Studios 60 is a refreshing look behind the scenes. Your advertising for this show is weak to say the least, and time slot does not help either. Very disappointed if you remove this show. Brief knowledge about me, Vegas, Heroes, ER, Law and Orders,Scrubs and I will probably watch the Donnelys, but if you turn this show off, I will stop watching all the others.
This show is amazing: I'm living in Ireland right now, so it's difficult to find ways to watch it, but I still do and slowly but surely all of my friends are becoming addicted as well. Give Studio 60 a chance! Renew it for a second season!
Aaron Sorkin is a genius. I fell in love with West Wing and feared that wouldn't make it through season 7. Now Studio 60 isn't even making it through the first? That's just wrong.
I bet if they renamed it "CSI:Studio 60" the ratings would go up. Come on folks, S60 is the most intelligent, well written, and well acted show in years. Move it to a new night and give it a chance!
NBC, please continue to give Studio 60 your full support. It is a worth while show that will reward you with its success. All you need to do is continue to nurture it through patience and promotion. Maybe if you move it to Sundays at 8 PM or 9 PM so that more people can watch it, it might help.
