Please don't cancel. Move it to a different night if you have to. I'd still tune in. It is sophisticated entertainment for the rest of us that are tired of reality crap!
Please do not cancel this show for another violent soap opera. I love Heros and this show is the perfect compliment, intellegent and non-violent and thought provoking.
Plans to cancel a show that educated viewers actually watch? Perhaps you missed your own story line mocking reality TV and the mindless crap that you keep throwing at us. Now I know why so many of my friends have gotten rid of their televisions.
Studio 60 is a GREAT show. The writing is terrific, the acting is well above most of the shows on network television today. It is a show that needs time to develop. Wouldn't it make sense to switch nights??? If you want to cancel a show that parodies SNL - cancel 30 Rock - that show pales in comparison to Studio 60. How many STUPID promos did we have to sit through for 30 Rock? Where was the pubilicty for Studio 60? There was NONE - and that is the sole reason the show is not getting the ratings. NBC is making a big mistake - Studio 60 is just developing into the kind of show that could have a long run with meaningful character and plot development and a loyal audience.
NBC: you should keep the show. The show is far superior to every dramatic show on television, indeed better than almost every show on today. I will not believe that you are able to take a variety of terrible shows and turn them into something that makes you money. I can't believe that you are so incompetent with television promotion that you have failed TV that is worth watching. Note: put some of those resources into worthwhile programming you'll get money and loyal fans. Mix it up a bit and see if it you can get the formula correct.
Please don't cancel Studio 60, I just love it! It has an unusual type of humour to it, and I think the more mature audiences really enjoy what it brings!
I am tired of the networks assuming that all of us viewers are a bunch of morons who happily ingest the idiotic reality shows that they force feed us. For once, NBC put out a show that is witty and intelligent. Now they want to replace it with a show that is in short, an edited irish version of the Sopranos. Real original. I thought they were trying to win back the respect of the viewers by proving that yes, they can laugh at themselves too. This show is a parody of what it's like to work behind the scenes of the networks. It's extremely humorous and enriched with high quality writing. I know that there are some viewers out there who enjoy the stupid shows that don't make you think, and maybe the jokes on Studio 60 are over their heads, but those same people have plenty of other shows to appease their idiocy. Let those of us who can appreciate intelligent humor have our one show that satisfies our long neglected need for humor that doesn't make us feel like we're losing our brain cells just watching it.
Now, I know that everyone is saying that it's because of the ratings... well, when the advertising for the show is seriously lacking the ratings will be too. NBC has treated this show like a red-headed step-child ever since it aired. If it wasn't for the fact that it aired in the time slot right after heroes I probably wouldn't have even known about it, but I happened to see the premiere and since have been hooked. Apparently no one in the advertising department has heard of the phrase "you have to give a little to get a little." You want the ratings?? Make people aware of the show. How're the ratings supposed to campete with other shows when you make it a point not to let the viewers know about it. This makes me think that NBC wanted this show to fail from the get-go. It's ashame, because for once I had developed some respect for this network. Of course that has been
This is the best show out there right now -- it's an intelligent show, a show that's not afraid to take on the issues. If you cancel Studio 60, I will lose all respect for the network -- remember M*A*S*H*? Ratings were low, they were going to drop it, but because of some pillow talk from a big shot's wife, it stayed on the air, and it is known today as one of the most popular cult classics in television HISTORY! Studio 60 has that kind of potential! Can you recognize that? DON'T CANCEL THIS SHOW!!!
Cancelling through mid season at least get to the finish line of its first season...huge fan base follows its acting, writing, wit, and intelligence weekly don´t let all of us down. Best show on tv by far...
This is the smartest show on TV! Studio 60 is the one show out there where the writing and the acting sets the bar for every other show out there. THIS SHOW IS AMAZING - DO NOT CANCEL IT!!!!
I believe this show to be one of the most innovative, interesting and funny shows. NBC should not be cancelling this show but rather MOVING IT TO A BETTER TIME SLOT!!!! If there is anything wrong with this show is that it was doomed to fail from the beginning by NBC who allocated to the WORST time slot in prime time tv. This is an amazing show and I fully support it staying around. NBC .... DO NOT SHUT DOWN THIS PRODUCTION!!!!!
Please keep this show on the air! If it's a matter of money, let me know. Jordan would fight for this show...and so would anybody with any appreciation for quality television.
I don't need to stress how important today's moral values are.It also is very important to have laughter especially at the morals. To see The ruff side of us all. It's good to see tv producers making a true to heart show that has a smudge of intelligent comedy. Not people hooked on watchin these reality shows and get off on the fake rawness the call reality.
NBC, Canceling Studio will admit that your focus is just ratings. Ratings by itself is a dangerous metric. What does it take to identify a successful show? Sadly today’s world is extremely metrics driven. There may be too many MBA’s in corporate America, and at possibly NBC. If driving were metrics driven, blind people could drive. Come on NBC, snap out of it and give a smart show a chance.
If a new show doesn’t launch itself into orbit in its first month like Lost, networks are not willing to give potential shows a chance. Instead the networks will choose to give simpleton comedy shows too many chances like The Office or My Name is Earl. Both of those shows I can not watch because they are too silly and make fun of social oddities. Keep Studio 60 going, for the same reason you kept SNL going for 30+ years.
Stimulate your watchers with some smart quick witted banter. If not, I may not come back to NBC for a long time. I can hold out.
Do you really want to trade Studio 60 for The Apprentice, Biggest Loser, & America’s Got Talent? What kind of Social Image does that portray?

Finally get a show on that both my husband and I look forward to - actually don't make any plans for Mondays to be able to watch it - and They Cancel It!! One of the most inovated shows to come around in a long time. Why?
Please, Please, Please... This is the best show I have seen in a long time. All characters have wonderful stories and the fast and witty dialogue between all the actors is refreshing and addicting. I will surely miss it and will not watch much else on TV if cancelled.
DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW!!!!!! this is one of the most intellegent shows that is on television today. By taking this show off the air you would be robbing people of the only intellengent show that is on who cares if some or most people dont understand Studio 60 dont rob the people who do and LOVE STUDIO 60 please do not take studio 60 off the air. Why should there be such shows as AMERICAN IDOL, Survivor, and these other very shallow shows that have no personality but yet get great reviews. Therefore let Studio 60 stay on the air.
Give this show a chance to work itself out. My husband and I love the actors on this show and enjoy watching them week in and week out. You will be doing yoru viewers a great injustice by cancelling it.
This is the only NBC show I watch. It is a fantastic show. My husband and I look forward to monday nights because of Studio 60. This show drew me back to NBC after they cancelled the last group of shows I got hooked into. I can honestly say that I wouldn't watch your network if you cancel Studio 60. Give it another season. Advertise it!
This is a GREAT show! If you cancel it, I guess I will have an extra hour of sleep on Mondays. I think I'll pretty much refuse to watch any new NBC shows in fear of cancellations of good programming.
Please don't ruin my Monday nights. Studio 60 is mature, intelligent, and well-acted. Give it a chance. Between that & Heroes I've just started watching network TV again.
DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW! You're alienting the last of the intelligent TV watchers. Not to mention this show is great and has even more potential. Sorkin delivers! I have every Season of West Wing on DVD and have already purchased the first Season of studio 60 on itunes. Let me get my money's worth and let these people keep a good show on television. Don't dumb your network down to others like fox.
Keep Studio 60 on the air. It's a breath of fresh air compared to other shows. It's got everything that an intelligent person wants in a television show. It is the right mix of drama, comedy, romance, and je ne c’est quoi…please find a way to keep the show going. On NBC or elsewhere.
