Do not cancel this show. I for once have something I really enjoy watching on TV. It is an extremely clever show and if given time will grow into a huge hit. NBC is headed down the right path so please don't mess it up.
I love Studio 60 and looked forward to watching it every Monday night. I chose it over what about Brian. Please bring it back. It's the only NBC show I watch.
Please don’t cancel one of the smartest shows on TV. It is not often that one has to think and still be entertained. TV has to have something on for those of us who actually still like to use our brains. We have to have some hope that creativity is still alive in Hollywood, and there will be more on TV then people making idiots of themselves for money.
PLEASE DON'T CANCEL STUDIO 60!!
This show is clever and funny and it's finally a smart show on NBC. I am tired of networks cancelling shows without giving them time to grow. Think Seinfeld...critics said it would fail and it had weak ratings at first, but became the greatest sitcom in history. Do the right thing and keep your viewers happy!
This show is smart and funny and I enjoy my Monday nights because of it, please just try a different time slot before making any harsh decisions of cancelling it.
This show is smart & funny most of the time. I am sick and tired of shows featuring depressing characters and drama that only ends badly. Why does NBC insist on running good shows into the ground or cancelling them. ER was funny before John Wells took all the humor out and killed it. West Wing was the best, until John Wells took all the humor out and killed it. Sports Night was awesome until it was cancelled. Instead, the networks air reality or angst ridden shows like Friday Night Lights, this new Donnelly thing, etc. If you don't want to watch those types of things you can always tune into the 8 versions of CSI or Law & Order. What is it with hollywood and no new ideas... lawyers, cops, doctors. We wouldn't want anything new or creative or not angst ridden. Stop saving the Cheerleader & save good shows
We finally have a great TV show that is smart and funny and not a reality show (thank goodness)! Can't believe that the execs would even think of canceling.
NBC has of late fabricated some amazingly horrible shows. Happily Studio 60 is not one of them. And if the honchos at NBC are really stupid enough to cancel a show with such a loyal following as Stdio 60 then they deserve to be flogged.
The only show my husband and I watch! I'll even stop fast forwarding through the commercials if you don't cancel. Seriously is the only show on the network worth watching.
Here's an idea... if the network is considering buying a show, don't buy a whole season. Buy enough episodes for one or two good story arcs, so when the lowest common denominator prevails and the show is cancelled, at least those who enjoy above average shows have a sense of closure. This happens season after season: a really good show confuses the "masses" and is canceled before it's time, and we are left hungry. Darn, you make me sound like an elitist. :(
Studio 60 is a wonderful show. It is warm, intelligent, informative, both funny and touching at the same time. I love the characters, the plot, seeing how a show like this is made, the relationships....I tape it and watch it several times that week just to catch all the wonderful script. NBC has never stood behind this show with promotion. I am not interested in violent shows, shows made to just cater to video game players, shows about ER's, crime scenes and lawyers, or reality shows. I am interested in shows with people I can care about. Please keep this show on and support it!
Great show, great cast, great audience (not so many, but interesting for advertisers) - so why cancel? If NBC is looking for bigger numbers, just don't show it against CSI, that will do the trick.
NBC don't make the mistake of canceling Studio 60. This is a fantastic show. A better time slot would draw bigger numbers. This is one of the few shows on your station worth watching!
i love this show please don't take it away....i like that it is aimed towards a more mature audience....but to just do away with it for something that will be like 50 other shows is crazy.....studio 60 is unique back it up...and it can be great!!!!
Please show some backbone and let this show live!!! Studio 60 is a smart, funny show that deserves life! It HAS support! Don't let the advertisers tell you what to do! Listen to your viewers!!
this is a great show...based on other comments, it seems you're capturing an audience with higher earning potential with this show, take advantage of it with your advertisers!
Studio 60 is a smart show. Please let it live for those of us who don't need to be 'spoon fed' when watching TV. What about promoting the show and standing behind it as a network? Give it a fighting chance. I have been a fan of Scrubs since day one and I have watched the network treat it like a bastard child - and still it exists in spite of you execs. Come on - give us a chance to have some quality T.V.. mr. Sorkin deserves better treatment and shame on you, NBC. As Debra pointed out (#5617), I beleive you should be targeting the age group that has the most cash - and that would be me! Stop taking away the smart shows and dumbing down our options.
I love this show. Funny, brillinatly written and acted. Please remember that there are intelligent poeple out there that like to watch intelligent shows.
Also it has been getting better and better each week since it started.
Please god do not remove the one bit of programming that keeps me somewhat sane on a monday night. yes, i hate to wait until that late in the evening to watch it, but i think if it were moved to an earlier time or even a different day, it might be more profitable for NBC than they realize.
Studio 60 - bring it back please! I have no interest at all in black donnally - it just more of the same old same old. Studio 60 was the only show I watched every week!
Please give this show a fighting chance. So many great shows have went down in flames ecause they were not seen as "bankable". An intelligent audience deserves an intelligent show. This is one of the last on television.
The amount of quality programming has decreased in recent years on network television, severely limiting the shows that are worth my time. Please keep Studio 60 on the air, the one show that is intellectually stimulating and that I make the effort to watch every week.
Studio 60 is awesome!!! Matthew Perry & Bradley Whitford have the greatest chemistry and there aren't many tv shows out there that are as well-written as S60, so, please, don't cancel it!!!
Please tell me that this show is on some weird short season. I cannot believe that the ratings on this show wouldn't be through the roof. It is terrific, with incredible writing and acting. Please find the right night and timeslot for this show. It is the only show my husband and I make an effort to watch each week.
Keep Studio60. We enjoy a show that doesn't dummy down it's plot and characters. Please don't cancel it - try another night, more advertising support, something. If you take it off the air all that will be left is a bunch of meaningless tripe that doesn't expand the mind or have you googling Rogers and Hammerstein lyrics.
I love Howie Mandell, but I need more stimulation. S60 provides NBC with part of their resposibility as a broadcaster to air something other than junk. If I want Sponge Bob, I know where to go. NBC should live up to the message that the show tries to deliver. Ad sales don't have to be independent of this show.
