This is a show that I look forward to every week and never miss. It's got great writing and acting. I often keep the episodes and watch then over. Please keep this great show on the air.
I watch 3 shows on TV now given time constraints. This is my favorite by far. Genius writing, hilarious, serious, everything. It would be wrong to cancel it.
Studio 60 is the most intelligent show on television. It's a sad state of affairs when quality no longer matters to the network executives. NBC will certainly loose this viewer at 10 pm on Mondays if the show is cancelled.
This and West Wing are the only NBC shows I have ever liked and watched. If NBC doesn't care about my demographic and wishes to continue to pander to ignorant people with crap tv, then that's fine.
For once they have something different, intelligent, and noteworthy, and they seem determined to replace it with the unremarkable.
Cancelling this show will prove that network executives don't care about the quality of their product, only the appeal to the lowest common denominator.
Witty, interesting and thought provoking. Too bad the network appears to be intent on offering programming for the LOWEST common denominator and is willing to cancel a quality show like Studio 60.
I am not going to insult the network of NBC, even if they are being ridiculous, and I am not going to complain that a show with a girl who spontaneously regenerates gets better ratings in America than Studio 60. I’m not even going to comment of the fact that losing shows like Studio 60 sucks because it lets show like the aforementioned one with the people who fly in it be “good television.” All I am going to say is that there are maybe five smart shows on network TV… okay, scratch that, there are seriously three that are worth watching, two are on better… I mean different networks, and the third, and probably smartest, is Studio 60.
Maybe I am an elitist, and maybe I don’t deserve a TV show worth watching because I, on the large, find TV, especially network TV, to be a waste of my time. But this show didn’t waste my time. I loved it. I loved the break it gave me from studying, I loved how smart it was, I loved that I didn’t half to make myself dumber to watch Studio 60. Please let us win this one… and I’ll never again mention how the show with the invisible people in it is, without a doubt, making Americans the laughing stock of the world… or at least of me and most everyone I know.
Aaron Sorkin has created another smart and sophisticated show -- much needed during this seemingly nonstop wave of dumbed-down sitcoms and WAY too many "reality" shows. Please keep "Studio 60" going strong!
Studio 60 is the one show I make sure to watch each week. It is also the only NBC show I watch anymore due to the terrible programming choices they have made. My Name is Earl, Scrubs and Heroes are decent shows, but do not provide me with any real mental stimulation. Dropping Studio 60 would be a major mistake within the NBC lineup and a crime against the supporters of the show.
This is a smart and truely entertaining show. Most of America does not have the IQ required to hang with this show. Please keep this show on for those of us who dislike the normal drivel.
This is the only show I get upset if I miss. I wish I was still a Nielsen family to prove it! If I miss it, I go online to view it. Are you checking how many views the episodes get too? Come on people, get with the program, this is a GREAT show!!!
I look forward to this show every week. There are very few shows out there that target my demographic. On top of that, this show is funny, smart and makes you think…and the cast is outstanding. How often can you say that? Please keep the show. Move it to a different night and/or timeslot if need be - but don't take it off the air. Give it a chance.
Studio 60 is one of the most fresh, innovative shows I have ever seen. Aaron Sorkin, as always, is an absolute master at creating characters that we can all relate to and enjoy. Do not take this wonderful show off the air.
When I heard this amazing show was pulled, I was devastated. This is an intelligent, funny, and just great all around show. I looked forward to Monday nights every week for Hero's and Studio 60 and, while I won't stop watching Hero's because of this, I am very disappointed in NBC for this move. You can be sure I won't even consider watching The Black Donnelly's because of this.
If this show is dropped, NBC will lose the respect and viewers of this house. That you can be sure of.
Sorkin and Schlamme's witty, intelligent dialogue and judicious representations of sometimes controversial topics combined to make one of the only shows on tv that raised the standard of characters' personalities, instead of dumbing them down for a mind-numbed audience. Studio 60 required active thought and still managed to be charming and funny. Please don't let this slip away. Networks need to keep raising standards, not slipping down into petty, simple comedy. Please bring back Studio 60.
Lets make a great show and start it off in a time slot that makes it compete with the second half of Monday Night Football, and then when we can't figure out why no one watches it we'll cancel the show after football season is over.
I have always felt that shows like West Wing and ER became so popular because they have interesting characters working in a some critical environment, who can think and act quickly, and who KNOW what they are doing. At the same time, they have to deal with personal problems just like the rest of us. Studio 60 may not be the White House, but they HAVE to get that show on the air on time. They qualify. It is an interesting view into TV production and it needs to stay on the air. I really do not need, and will not watch, a gang of hooligans trying to justify their actions. There are other things available. Please keep Studio 60 on the air.
NBC finally had something good with Studio 60 - I am boycotting the replacement... maybe they'll really see the numbers slump if all Studio 60 fans sign off

Keep Studio 60 on the air. It is the best program I have watched in years. I wonder who they poll....Everyone I know watches it. Leave it to NBC to cancel the only quality show on the air with wit, humor and a storyline.
This is one of the only shows that I have watched with any regularity. It seems very ironic that NBC is fulfilling the stereotype of the "bad broadcasting company." Please keep this intelligent, well-written, and superbly acted show on the air.
Most refreshing show in years! I particularly appreciate the character of Harriet and the difficult choices she has to make as a Christian who has not swallowed the neo-con koolaid., Sarah does an excellent job portraying someone trying to "walk the walk." Matt's love for her is touching and real. Love Danny and Jordan as well. Nate Corddry and DL Hughley are smart, funny and nuanced.
please save studio 60. it is a refreshing story line and a good break from reality tv and the serious dramas that we are flooded with now. I believe the actors and writers of studio 60 are excellent and deserve to continue. possibly a better time slot would be before the Medium on wednesdays to reach a more appropriate fan base
It's so different from all the forensic shows that clog the television.
If I watch another show that a CSI solves the crime and finds a murderer from a graham cracker crumb that was left next to a dead body, that he tracked down the maker and the lot number from the graham cracker, from a series of tests in the lab done during a "Who" montage, then finds that it was only sold in four different specialty shops in NYC and the cashier instantly remembers who purchased it and then whips out the receipt with the murderers credit card #, thus solving the crime, I think my head will explode!
I can't believe they are considering canceling the one show I look forward to watching every week. It is a family affair in my house! I will not watch TBD.
This is an intelligent and funny show that negates the reality carnage that has been permeating the world of tv these days. NBC hasn't made a mistake creating this number!
My Mondays where always Heroe's followed by S60, now I might Just do Prison Break followed by 24, NBC is wrong to drop S60, I guess it was to smart for them to understand
Studio 60 is a wonderful show. I love the way they bring in music, a lot of artists I have never heard of. It's intelligent and smart, and the acting is superb. Stop pre-empting it for other programs; I have to check each week to see if it will be on. Frankly, Heroes is not the best lead in for the show, since they are so different and have different demographics. I will not be watching The Black Donnellys, I guarantee.
If NBC was trying to make a point with the show, WE GOT IT!! NBC is doing the EXACT OPPOSITE of what NBS would do...the execs at NBS were fighting for good television, smart television!! NBC is giving up on THE BEST SHOW ON TV.
I love the stroy line, I like the complex interweaving of stories. The last thing NBC needs is anohter bang bang some one shooting someone else Series. Why cant the exec's of NBC see that smart comedy/drama can win if promoted.
This is the first network show in an long time to lure me away from HBO. Plese don't cancel it - instead, find a night for it and give this well-written and superbly acted show a fair chance!
Ive never posted on any petition or blog or anything like that before and i just feel that this show is that awesome and intelligent that it needs people to speak out on its behalf and keep pushing it along. Television doesnt need another bloody action show like the black donnellys, we have enough of those. It would be great to keep a witty piece of work like this.
Wonderful show with excellent dialog. Move it to an earlier time slot and more people will watch it. My parents were avid West Wing fans, and would like to watch Studio 60 but it comes on too late.
For the love of god, cancel one of the many Law and Orders before this show. Oh wait someone is being killed, rapped or robbed, so why would we want to watch, just a smart humorous show?
There are so few quality shows on television, and I have found myself more often on my computer watching TV shows than on the television itself. And guess what, they don't have commercials on the internet. So, NBC, advertisers, and affiliates of any form: Studio 60 was the one hour where you could reach my family and myself. If this is the end of Studio 60 then I guess I'll never know what new types of Tide detergent there are or the newest greatest Toyota in production. Too bad... you almost had me.
I came into this season having very serious doubts about this program. I figured it would not be worth my time. Man, was I ever wrong. S60 is the best new program of the year, INCLUDING Heroes, which I also watch, but would be inclined to swap over to 24 w/o S60 as a follow up. Please DO NOT cancel this show.
This show is one of few on any network that sre well written. It is smart and fun and relevant and should be given time to grow a larger fanbase. It should not be replaced with another violent mindless show.
There has to be room in your line-up for intelligent, smart shows. You seem to have only one now. Are you really going to get rid of it? All of this dumbing down is part of the reason the rest of the world thinks of us as stupid.
Aaron Sorkin is a talent beyond measure. We need his shows to combat the drivel that is otherwise on the air. Don't cancel Studio 60! It's the only show I watch; don't lose us as a market for your advertisers. We're a discerning, intelligent group, and you should be targeting us, not locking us out!
I love Studio 60 my wife and I watch it every week and we tivo to watch again please don't cancel this excellent program. Remember Seinfeld had horrible ratings and was slow to catch on!
Studio 60 is a refreshing change from the normal, the predictable, and the dumbed down offerings that proliferate the networks. DON'T CANCEL PLEASE!!!!!
The fact that this argument needs is preposterous. When West Wing began, I missed the entire first season, and only after it destroyed my favorite shows in that year's emmys, i started watching it. and realized that it really was that good. and in doing so had to go out and buy the first season on dvd to catch up. i don't need to do that this time, but i'm going to anyway, because the only reason west wing was any good was because of the writing. you have more elements that make up a good show in this series, than any other on television. keep the show, it's ridiculous this is even up for a question...or at least wait until the emmys before you decide to scrap it.
KEEP THIS SHOW! I miss it already!
Bring it back as soon as possible. I was disappointed to realize that it was Monday today and there was no Matt and Danny to look forward to!
