Studio 60 is the only show I turn on my TV for... It is possible to have intelligent, funny TV shows! *How many* other series didn't have off the chart numbers their first season, that went on to be long lasting successes? I can think of quite a few... (X-Files, Cheers, Star Trek, etc...)
I'm a former broadcaster and the first show hooked me solid. I think NBC put the show up against the 900lb gorilla of CSI because the critics loved it so much, how about a different timeslot?
Oh, please...get rid of Heros if somethings gotta go, but don't cancel the best show on TV since the West Wing. Studio 60 is well written, well cast & clever...those of us with minds need its humor & quick wit. Please don't cancel ti!
Please do not cancel this show. There are intelligent people out here who want to watch intelligent tv. I do not want to watch more morons eating maggots for money. Keep Studio 60 and it can be a long term money maker like West Wing was.

It is in the top 3 of my favorite shows on television. It is smart, funny and I love it. Although these pleas are likely to go unheard, I urge you to try something before cancelling it such as cutting the cost of each episode to trying a new timeslot.
Please don't cancel this smart, witty show! Give it a chance in another time slot rather than just getting rid of it altogether. At one time, I was a loyal NBC fan, but for the last 2.5 years your primetime lineup has left something to be desired. I came back to NBC for this show & this show only. NOw you're cancelling it. PLEASE give this show a REAL chance to make it.
This is a smart, funny, well-written and acted show. There really needs to be more quality hour long shows that challenge the viewers to engage in order to balance out the ridiculous nonsense that pervades our televisions weekly.
For the love of God... no more Deal or no Deal crap. This is exactly what they mocked in the last 2 episodes, screw quality programming.. lets get more reality TV. American morons LOVE reality and game shows. Look ma... entertainment, no thinking required!!! What a bonus, i can watch TV and never have to worry about overtaxing my brain. I've never been one to make meaningless pledges, and i know that NBC doesn't care about my viewing choices [obviously] but on principle I will never watch the replacement show and i hope no one else does. The Riches premiers next week on FX. Guess I'll be watching that.
S60 is a great show, with a poor time slot. Heroes is not a good lead in, network promotion is lacking, and while nielson ratings are low, they are also consistent. Not to mention the added viewers from dvr! Please consider moving the show to a new time slot. You did it for Friday Night Lights
It's unthinkable they are canning one of the best shows on TV. I have decided to boycott NBC entirely due to this. I am an avid heroes, ER , Earl, 30 rock Fan and will stop watching all due to this crack ridled idiot decision. It makes no sense in canning a show that is so well thought out and such good acting in favor of some rehashed show like the Black Donnely's.
NBC just lost a longtime supporter.
I knew after the 1st show that it would never last -some of the most witty and intelligent writing I've heard in a very long time. The average t.v. watcher just couldn't appreciate its quality I guess. A great loss!
Keep Studio 60! Smart, snappy dialog, clever wit, and interesting characters, presented by a talented ensemble cast. (Except Ms. Paulson) We need Aaron Sorkin so that intelligent people have a reason to watch TV. Otherwise, all we'll have left is Discovery Channel and The Daily Show w/Jon Stewart.
Please do not cancel S60. Best new show this season. It gets ridiculous how NBC gets good show and won't give it a chance. Re-locate or something but don't get rid of it.
This show is one of my favorite shows. It is the only show that I watch on NBC. I don't think that I will have any reason to change my TV set to NBC now. Keep the show on the air and put money into advertisment.
What are you people thinking? Sudio 60 is brilliant.The ensemble cast is perfect. I watch a great deal of T.V.and tthe cancellation of this show really makes me wonder why.Please do another study on this decision. You have definately made a horrendous mistake.

Oh, and BTW, I am a huge NBC fan, it's practically the only channel I watch, but I WILL turn my loyalties elsewhere if this show gets cancelled!
This show just needs to build an audience. Please give an intellligent, non-reality show a chance to build. Remember how many great shows had a slow start. This could definiteky be one of them. People in the baby boomer age love a show like this. NBC has a lack of smart, mature programming and this is one of the few NBC shows I watch. I hope you will keep this one.
I am VERY disappointed that NBC is apparently taking Studio 60 off the air. It is one of the few high quality shows on TV right now; it doesn't insult the intelligence of its viewers. NBC, I do not watch Heroes; I find it mindless and manipulating, as does the rest of my family. But, we all enjoy Studio 60 and tune to NBC at 10:00 PM (which is a lousy time slot on Mondays) just because of it. I will not be watching your replacement show in this time slot, which looks to be just another "me-too" mindless soap opera like so many others already wasting air time.
Please reconsider this decision.
I only watch 2 shows on Television with any kind of regularity. Heroes, and Studio 60. To be fair, The Black Donnelly's looks like it will become the third show I watch every week, but I don't want to have to give up one of my favorite shows for another one. Cancel Deal or No Deal or something, Howie Mendel's career died before Bobby's World aired, and the bald thing isn't working. Give us Heroes, Studio 60, and Black Donnelly's on in a row and it'll be the best night on television.
Studio 60 is my favorite show this season. It is intelligent humor that we are all used to from Aaron Sorkin. I was a Sportsnight junkie, and this is as good if not better than that. With all the reality garbage that stays on television, what are those of us who love great writing and witty dialogue supposed to watch?? NBC should stay the course with this charmer. If it can't beat CSI Miami, then move opposite something else!

I am a professional married to another professional with no children and I have lots of disposable income and like good TV. I will support networks and advertisers who support good and smart TV.
Please give this show a chance. There are soo few smart shows on tv. At the very least finish the series. Some shows need time to develop. Why not try another time slot?
It's not unexpected. Some of the greatest shows on TV didn't find their audience until the second half of the first year, and many required scheduling changes to get to a timeslot they thereafter dominated. NBC is just proving once again that they've grown the limpest dick of the networks.
Please keep the show on and help prove that the American public will watch a well written intelligent show. Maybe give it a chance in a different time slot. In time, the network will ve well rewarded with recognitions, emmy awards, and a strong lead in to another smart intelligently written as yet to be seen show.
Why do you keep doing this NBC(ok not just NBC but all networks). Give us a good show get us interested and then shut it down. Granted it started slow but its coming on strong. Please give it a chance.
I'll be outraged if Sudio 60 is canceled!!! Heros is THE only other NBC show we watch ... "60" is funny and intelligent and the cast is great ... their great ensemble feeling is rarely found on shows during the first season ... give it a chance to be the phenom its bound to be ... find another time slot, another night ... but keep it on! I wasn't aware that NBC is in much of a position to alienate viewers and believe me, cancelling this show would do just that ... it might be THE final nail in the peacock's coffin. Wake up!!! Studio 60 is great entertainment and viewers know it even if the network is too stupid to figure it out!!! Keep it on the air!!!
This is one of the greatest shows on televion...ever, save The West Wing. It is SMART writing and a quality show, and proves that America CAN do something right.
Don't cancel one of the few shows on primetime that has intelligent dialogue! Smart people watch tv, too! This show's writing is brilliant and the chemistry of the cast is phenomenal. Cancelling Studio 60 in favor of another show that glorifies violence is a huge mistake.
Studio 60 brings some much needed variety to latenight TV. It's smart, funny and caters to an audience which doesn't often get a show on air that they can feel this way about. Please reconsider cancelling this show.
I love this show. I love the writing. I love the acting. I love it. The best show currently on television. I look forward to Monday because of it. You would be making a huge mistake by pulling it. The Black D's? I'm losing faith in your taste NBC...Keep something worthwhile on the air!
One of the few shows with intelligent and believable story lines and its being cancelled for what? Too many unanswered ?'s (why no ads, why not a diff. time slot, etc...). Keep it on the air. People are tired of the 'no thinking required shows' of today( the CSI's, Law and Order's, reality crap, 'insta-millionaire' gameshows, etc). Don't remove the one showthat gives us something to sink our teeth into!
Do the networks take into consideration that people DVR shows and watch them later? Especially when it is aired at 10 o clock PM EST?? THink about it NBC. Figure out a way to keep this alive - studio 60 is new and great.
It's not the best show, or the only one I watch, but it is damn good. I adore the characters, and the actors. Every week the story improves and more insight is given to the background of Studio 60 and the history of the people who run it. The potential is there , Studio 60 could be an excellent show. Like every other show on TV, it deserves at least the first season to work out the small kinks and get its legs. Don't give up on Studio 60 so quickly, it might just surprise you.
Studion 60 is one of the most intelligent shows to hit the networks in years! The humor is witty and the atmosphere is fast-paced. it is definitely my favorite show this year!
