The intelligence of this show consistently draws a devoted, upper-class audience. Due to the abundance of DVRs and TiVo, the ratings appear lower than they really are. The viewership for Studio 60 is higher than you think, and cancelling it would be devastating to many viewers. Aaron Sorkin is creating a very dynamic set of characters that repeatedly draw us in, and I anxiously await every Monday night to see what will happen next. Studio 60 is my favorite show on TV, and in my opinion the most intelligent and satisfying. Please don't cancel.
I hope someone from HBO and decides to pick up this show. They have the common sense to give good shows a chance. The Black Donelly's looks good, but I would feel like a traitor watching it.
This is a show that is built to be successful with a good plot and a very doable storyline and a great cast. Leave it to NBC to mess it up. Give it another chance! Advertise it more, give it a new timeslot, it can succede!
This is one of 3 or 4 shows I bother watching on TV- and I will continue to watch as long as it airs. To cancel it is have NBC's credibility and reputation sink further and further. if NBC can't market this show properly, how sad and pathetic for us all.
What a refreshing show. With three children and a hectic life, my wife and I only make time to watch one show - ER. That changed last fall and now we NEVER miss Studio 60. I had no idea it was even up for cancellation - a show this good HAD to be around for a while. PLEASE KEEP THE SHOW! I remember how good Homicide was, but NBC continued to give it bad time slots then cancelled due to bad ratings. Give Studio 60 some time - people will come back.
This was the only show I watched on NBC and has been for the last few years. The quality of network programming has continually gone downhill over the years and now cancelling this wity, intelligent and very entertaining show is truly the end of NBC for me. Network tv should stop catering entirely to the lowest common denominator all the time and allow more creative niche shows to see the light of day. Those of us with more than half a brain need something to watch too.
I was at an audition today with a room full of 20 something girls all talking about how much we adore this show and cannot understand why nbc would cancel it! Please don't!
i was going through painful west wing withdrawl until studio 60 came on the scene. it is the only new show of the season i'm addicted to. please give it more time!!!
This is typical Big Television. Cover up the huge mistake of taking this show off the air for a month by taking it off the air...without any warning to the fans. apparently the big networks can't carry good shows after all. Guess I'll get back to my cable shows...Grow up NBC.
With the ever increasing monotony of Network televison which force feeds us mindless drivel. the demise of "studio 60" does not surprise me. I am tremendously dissappointed and will not watch what is in it place. I will miss the story lines, and many of the characters, whpo I may never hope to see again in a network tv show.
Please bring it back with some support.

Please, please keep this show. It is one of the VERY few shows that is for the intelligent minded. I realize not everyone "gets it", but it's not supposed to be a comedic look behind the scenes. It is a look behind the scenes based more in the dark reality of network television.
I love this show. Studio 60 is the only quality program on TV. I have watched every episode, the one and only show I watch every week. Please let Studio 60 live.
Why do you do this, NBC? Every time a show is any good (ie intelligent, humorous, well-acted) it either turns into a soap opera (ER) or gets canned (West Wing)... I have been watching less and less NBC programming over the years... losing Studio 60 may be the straw that breaks MY back...

I haven't watched prime time network tv in years. I couldn't imagine the networks would come up with something worthwhile. You finally did with Studio 60, doesn't anybody have enough pride to stand up for a show because it's good? Keep it on the air. It's great tv.
Studio 60 is a great addition to the mostly mind numbing NBC line-up. Hero's isn't that great, the only reason we watch it is because it precedes Studio 60.

Why cancel Studio 60? I guess I can only watch Heroes now and then turn to CBS or ABC to watch something entertaining. Get ready to watch this show go down hill fast. Really, who wants to watch a show about brothers who get introuble? If I wanted that I'd watch the show Supernautral. These guys in this new show all look dirty and what is the plot? Oh the young brother that really tries to be good just can't because he has to save his older brothers and risk losing his dreams. GET REAL! I want to know what is going to happen to Harriet now that the new hot attorney is around. And Tom Dieter and all the other characters!
If it were contextualized properly then it could be a hit. You can't put it ALL on Sorkin's back NBC!!!!! Give it a DRAMA slot and promote some. It will get a steady teen-million viewers!! Or just take the easy way out!!
Studio 60 is the best show on tv! It makes me laugh so much and I love the interaction of the characters. Great writing, great acting. For the love of God NBC, move the show to another time slot but don't just cancel this gem. With all of the crap on your network, surely there is a better option if something needs to be cancelled!
Aside from the L&O triplets, which are fun because the stories are contained and episodes can be missed, I'd stopped watching NBC. Why? Because, over the years, they've cancelled some of my favorite shows, leaving me hanging. I hope that Studio60 is not one more show they cancel (although I fear it will be). I will not watch The Black Donnellys. I'll just watch something on cable, where shows seem to have more of a life. Funny that I did not start watching Heros because I was afraid it would be cancelled (I'm not going to start now). Remember the days when TV shows were given time to mature and build an audience? I doubt it, but I sure remember them. Once you cancel the Law and Order shows, I won't tune my TV to NBC again.
This is the best written, acted DRAMA on TV! It cannot follow a show like Heroes. It's a DRAMA! It was my favorite show on and I would have watched over any other thing out there!!!
Studio 60 is too well made and has too much talent behind it to be canceled. It will find its audience. Lets not forget that Seinfeld and Cheers were nearly canceled and then it took them a few years to become the Classic Tv Shows that they are now.

Please keep this intelligent, enjoyable, and witty show on the air. If you want to keep its numbers up, move it to another night following another intelligently funny show like the Office!
NBC keeps trying to wow me with crap like "Grease" and "Deal" or "Identity." Next to "Earl," "Office," and "Heroes," this is one of the few smart programs on NBC. Try programming for those outside the least common denominator. We're the ones ages 18-49 with college degrees who understand this show and have disposable income for the advertisers to want to target to.
Even though it's almost midnight here, when I finished watching the show (from my DVR) I had to jump out of bed to find out when it's on again after seeing that Donnelly's promo. There is barely anything good left to watch on TV anymore and I'm obviously not the only person who thinks so... this show IS awesome. The actors are top-notch and so is the writing. Please don't be stupid, NBC! KEEP THIS SHOW!!!

I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! And so do many people I know - who are they polling? I wait all week for this show and there is NOTHING else I care to watch on NBC anymore. Is it so bad to have JUST ONE SHOW that caters to a more intelligent portion of the population?
I don't live in the Midwest and I am not a Nielsen Family, but we watch this show, we don't Tivo it, it is appointment television for us. - change nights, do what you have to do to let this show find its way into more houses.
