Do not cancel this show, It is terrific. Please move it to another night where it stands a better chance of finding an audience, it doesn't belong with Heroes, they are too different. Give intellegent shows a chance.
Do not cancel this show. It is one of the only shows I make time to watch every week. The dialogue is witty and interesting. It is one of the few shows where character communication itself is interesting. The banter between characters is what makes Sorkin's shows so unique. Do not cancel this show!
Come on NBC...We (some viewers) are sick of watching these ridiculous reality tv shows. I look forward to watching Studio 60 every Monday night! This show is intelligent and creatively written for the public viewers, so please do not cancel Studio 60!
Studio 60 is one of the most refreshing, well written, intelligent shows I have ever seen. It would be a mistake to cancel it. You would loose many of your mature viewers if you do.
Studio 60 rapidly became one of my favorite shows. Please consider keeping it on the air, even if you have to move it to a different day and/or time. It is frustrating when it seems every show you fall in love with gets cancelled. Thank you for your time and consideration.
please do not cancel one of the smartest, well written, well cast shows that I have seen on tv. The Black Donellys is also a great show but I need studio 60 back..
I would be the first to state that I want S60 to stay on the air. I agree that it is a well written, well acted, well directed piece of TV genius. There is nothing better on television as far as I’m concerned and it would be a crime against the art to remove it from public viewing. Having said that, I think those of us who view the show should stop thinking we’re the smartest things since cavemen discovered fire and get over the notion that anyone who watches something other than S60 struggles to open a pickle jar. There are many people watching this show who did not skip a Mensa meeting in order to do so. Let’s not give the impression that S60 is not for a person of average intelligence. There are many aspects of the show that can, should be appreciated by all. Let’s remember that in order to keep the show on the air it needs bigger ratings; the number can only be increased by those who may feel alienated by our “only smart people watch this show” comments. SAVE S60!
Please don't pull Studio 60. If you want it to get better give Sorkin back control of the damn thing. It only started getting lame toward the end with all the crazy relationship stuff. If NBC does cancel, I hope they try it on a different station! Maybe HBO or Showtime!
Studio 60 replaced with The Black Donnellys? Gimme a break, that story hasn't been done a thousand times. Well I guess I will only be watching one hour of NBC TV a week(Heroes)
Oh cmon, we really have to do this? For this great a shoe. Save it. It's one of the finest pieces of writings America has seen. Also... you're doing something that's exactly contradictory to the show.
NBC Programming and AD Sales! Take a look at your demographics - you are pulling in a huge percentage of the upper-middle class. Start advertising for more product that appeals to this crowd! Keep the show on - cut its budget if necessary, but keep it on!!!
I tune in to NBC on Mondays to watch Studio 60 and that is it. I don't watch the other shows before it. If you cancell Studio 60 I will go back to watching CSI Miami on CBS. This show was a nice change at my house as I typically let my husband choose and that means a lot of crime drama or sports. This is one of the few he knows I will be watching no matter what. Networks pull good show too quickly anymore. There is never a chance for them to develop an audience before they move on. Most shows are not going to be an overnight success but that doesn't mean they are bad.
I find it incomprehensible that the Execs at NBC would consider cancelling the most intelligent show on their network.
Contrary to popular belief, many of us are not mindless, "reality junkies" that cannot follow a storyliine for more than 38 seconds without requiring a labotomy.
Studio 60 is one of the rare shows on network television that doesn't leave you feeling like you lost precious brain cells and saying to yourself; "Well, there's 30/60 minutes of my life I'll never get back."
NBC, check out the writing, acting directing of this show and you'll see it has the potential to be every bit the ratingsd leader West Wing was given the opportunity in a more competitive time slot and with even a minimal marketing effort.
Please keep Studion 60 on the air. I can't believe that you would even consider taking such an inventive, entertaining, and actually unique program off your network. Try it in a different time slot for pete's sake!! Some of us actually enjoy witty dialogue and a well written series. Deal or No Deal doesn't even compare to this show!

The Black Donnelly's is replacing STUDIO 60 ON THE SUNSET STRIP??? O yes, that's right...I remember now...all Irishmen are violent drunkards. I find this replacement to S60OTSS to be highly insulting to me and my ancestors and absolutely refuse to watch NBC until this show is removed and S60OTSS is returned to us, the viewing public. We intelligent people like the smart writing and the realistic production. I was in television production for 15 years and I think this show is not only entertaining but accurate in the way it portrays the industry.
Perhaps NBC could place Studio 60 in another time slot. There are those of us who do not have any interest in watching American Idol and would be more than happy to give FOX some competition.
Come on, NBC, think. You are considering the removal of a spectacular show while you are about to deliver a show about a private eye highlighting an actor that was once a "yes man" for Conan. Do you really believe that is what we want to see? Why not put it on Friday or Saturday...YES! we do watch prime time on the weekends...isn't that amazing?
You can not cancel this show! It is a show i actually take time to watch. Between work and grad school my life is nuts! Studio 60 gives me one hour of entertainment and relaxing! Shelf the black donellys or at least move it out of STUDIO 60's time slot!!!!!
Do not cancel Studio 60. It is one of the few shows worth my time every week. Historically, every show I really enjoy is cancelled - usually due to not finding an audience. I think that is because there are a lot of people out there who are happy with being force-fed reality TV crap and game shows. Having an altenrative that is smart, funny and well-acted is rare. Don't blow it. Remember, Cheers took a year or two to get an audience - then look what happened!
Please don't take this show away. I love it!! The witty dialogue, the chemistry of the cast, the interesting stories, the outstanding acting...I love everything about this show. I've already lost "Friends" (yes I am still in mourning) please don't take away one of the best shows in a long time.
Best show on TV. Please don't cancel like previous greats, Sports Night and West Wing. Intelligent humor in dry dialog. Like an oasis in a desert of entertainment of blood, bullets, inane games, or locker room sitcoms.
Taking a risk with a format like Studio 60 is a bold and great move for a network, so stick it out and keep the show and its viewers convinced that hope dies last. Studio 60 rocks!
Finally a show worth turning the TV on for, and the damn Network is getting cold feet. What´s up with staying on track even when there is a slip in the so called "data". Does anyone care about the millions watching this show?
I love Studio 60. It is one of 2 shows I now watch regularly, and I plan to buy it when it comes out on DVD. Give it the same chance you gave West Wing.
Please don't rob us of these wonderful talents. To deny viewers the joy of watching the astounding Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford and Steven Weber bring to life the amazing scripts of Aaron Sorkin is a crime against television!
