This is not the greatest FOX show ever (Firefly, Futurama, Simpsons, Family guy, X files) But it's pretty darn funny and has ptential and it should really stay on the air. Tobias, Gob and the father really make the show. PLEASE don't let this be cancelled like so many other great Fox shows.
With all the reality tv shows clogging up the airwaves, its hard to enjoy television anymore. Eventually the phase will peter out and will be mentioned on VH1's I love 2000 twenty years from now. Its not too often that a show as creatively written and directed with such dynamic characters, where each of them has me laughing hystericaly, as AD. If FOX were to pull it I would be disappointed and realize that they don't give a shit about what is good entertainment, but more about what the latest fad is. And THATS why you leave a note!
This is the only show I watch on Fox on Sunday nights. THE ONLY SHOW. King of the Hill is Ok, but I'd rather wait for the DVD releases for that, and Simpsons was long gone by season ten as far as I am concerned, and that show is just dead to me. And Malcom in the Middle? I will give you that, but it's not my cup of tea. Arrested Development, on the other hand, is incredibly great TV, and should not be shuffled off into never ever land because it can't pull in the numbers like American Idol. GIVE THIS SHOW A CHANCE! Haven't you FOX execs learned anything from the post-cancellation success of Family Guy? Maybe there are more people watching it than you realize, but those people don't have Neilson ratings boxes! SAVE THIS SHOW!
The highlight of my week and my favorite Tivo season pass to date. The initial promos made me think it would blow (probably alot of other people saw them and hence never tuned in
). I'm so glad I did though a wonderful hillrious show that should be given every chance to grow (like Seinfeld needed, this show IS the next Seinfeld if given a chance). I know I'll buy a copy of season 1 as soon as it hits DVD even though I've seen them all already, that alone says alot. Please keep up the good work, nothing on tv in the last several years has been close to A.D.
I never ever miss this show on the weekends. It is my new favorite show and if something were to happen to it, I think I just might stop watching FOX completly.
This is one of the very few shows that I do NOT miss. Most programming is total garbage and I will be very sadly disappointed if you ruin my favorite evening of t.v. programming.
One of the only shows--let me correct that--THE only show on TV that is original, inventive, and makes me laugh out loud every time I watch it! No matter what, I make sure I'm home for this one, and I'm always cracking up at the cleverness of it throughout the 1/2 hour. The entire cast is excellent, and it would be a real shame if this was cancelled.
Arrested Development is the reason I watch FOX and tape HBO shows. I can wait for another day to see The Sopranos, etc. I like to watch Arrested Development because it makes me laugh out loud. Fox, please do not cancel Arrested Development! I bet there was once a time where you considered canceling Malcolm In the Middle, another very, very funny show. That would have been a huge mistake. Please keep Arrested Development on! I do not even know what other networks have on Sunday nights, especially because I get to look forward to Arrested Development.
Brilliant, original, laugh-out-loud funny, addictive, poignant, and the BEST SHOW ON TELEVISION!
In a season that has seen some of the best tv canceled before its time, let FOX be the network that says "no" to mediocrity and stands behind quality, worthwhile programming. (Too late to do so with Wonderfalls, bad move FOX!)
Give it time. Many classic, best-loved shows of all time would be struggling in today's tv climate. Give AD a chance to develop an audience, and be sure that once it does, that audience will be fiercely loyal. People ARE watching and the audience is growing. We have groups of people over to our house, and force them to watch it...once they have, they LOVE IT!
Fox, show your courage and integrity. Keep Arrested Development on the air and do your part to enrich television and culture. Please :)

There is nothing like Arrested Development on TV today... it would be a travesty to take a bonafide innovative comedy off the air! The talents of the writers and cast are simply unmatched!
Please do not cancel this show, FOX alread shot itself in the foot for cancelling "Family Guy". Insult to injury would be replacing it with a "reality" program.
Do not cancel this show!!! It is the best thing to ever happen to Fox. A welcome relief from the dull "reality" programming. Nothing is more intelligently funny than AD. We can't lose it.
This show is the reason I get out of bed on Sundays! I look forward to it all weekend! Please please please Fox, I will even subject myself to American Idol if that's what it would take to keep Arrested Development on the air. Don't crush me like NBC did with My So-Called Life
How could anyone cancel a show as original as this when such shows like Bernie Mac and all tha reality show crap is ruling the airwaves?!? Let it grow PLEASE!!!
It has to stay on television or I will murder someone. It is hilarious, and we all want to keep watching it. The plot is good, and the characters are all amusing.
AD is the best show on tv, hands down. Fox should count their blessings that another network didn't get it first.....Maybe one of them will scoop it up if Fox is dumb enough to let it go. Save the Bluths!!!
It would be a shame to lose such a refreshing funny show. One of those rare ones you absolutely hate missing.....AD is one of those shows. Fox has a winner, I only hope they realize it and keep it around.
Please don't cancel this show!! This is one of the best shows on tv today! Funny in an intellectual way. Kudos to the writers!! If Fox is smart - they'll keep this on the lineup!!
AD is the funniest show and isworthy of television. Cancel crap like Forever Eden, and Survivor and that will help. Oh and CSI! But, FOX NEVER saves it's shows, and have you all noticed that FOX is the one cancelling all these petioned shows?
