that was not meant to sound like a homicidal rant. But I do love the show, and I really think you guys should keep it on the air. It is way too cool to go away. At least not until the actors need face-lifts.
This show is better than 100% of the reality crap that passes for network entertainment today. This is just one more reason to only watch Comedy Central, I guess. Please keep Arrested Development on the air.
I have never laughed so hard at a television show in my entire life. This is a creative and smart program. I'm in your demographic! 18-34! I watch this show. My friends watch this show. It's wonderful! Thanks :)
With no need to add to the undisputed consensus on how good AD is, I'll crassly note that my girlfriend and I are mid-30s high-income urban professionals and, after Wonderfalls' cancellation, AD is one of very few Fox shows to which we are still (fiercely) loyal (also: 24, King of the Hill). If you replace it with a reality show or traditional three-camera family sitcom, there is NO CHANCE we will watch. There must be a business justification for smart, sophisticated shows that draw in a highly desireable demographic of the sort of urban professionals who otherwise would entirely abandon network TV for HBO. If the Nielsen ratings don't support a decision to keep AD, then I suspect that they're too crude a measure.
This is a great show. Please do not cancel it!!! It's funny on it's own where you don't have to use a laugh track, believe me, if you watch the show, you'll laugh without needing the laugh track!! It's very subtle, but funny. In comparison with all the other shows that are on the air, this is the best thing I've seen in years. There was marathon of the show a few weeks ago, and I taped it, and now I'm loaning the video tape of the marathon to people so they can see what the show is all about. Please do NOT let this show go!!! I wish I was a TV Programmer, then I'd know the show would be safe and be back for the second season.
Pleeeaaaasssee don't take Arrested Development of the air!!! It is the funniest shows on fox. I just started watching it about a month or two ago because fox didn't advertise it enough for me to realize they had this excellent show on sunday nights. FOX: if you dump this show it will be an unforgivable mistake!!!
FOX TV Execs ...get your heads out of your butts and forget about whatever reality program your thinking about replacing this show with. Just use common sense and realize you have a program worth keeping. Don't blow it this time!
Arrested Development is by far the best show on TV right now. Network television is the pits except for Fox's Sunday line-up with Arrest Development being key. The network that gave us like what, 12 or so seasons of Married with Children can give is more AD.
This is a brilliant show, and rivals Seinfeld for one of the most inventive and genuis things on TV. To cancel this would be the same as taking Seinfeld off the air in the middle of season 2.
Thank you for a comedy that doesn't drag me down into lowest common denominatordom (is that a real word?). This show stands up with some of the best British comedies.
