Arrested Development is the best comedy television has seen in a long time. It's clever and quick; I don't think I've ever laughed as hard as the episode where we learn the male Bluths' early education was based on the principle "Children should be neither seen nor heard." This gem of a show gets it all right, and I can't wait from week to week to see what they'll do next. Keep this show!
This show is so brillant and better than anything on FOX right now- Yes even The Simpsons and 24. Please don't kill another great series like you did Andy Richter and Undeclared
Best Comedy on TV. Period. No other show makes me laugh out loud as consistently as AD. Please give it another season - just look at X-Files and The Practice, sometimes new shows need a little time to gain in audience share.
My husband and I just love this freshly written show. A show like this should be given all the chances it can to stay on the air. If it comes out on DVD - we're buying it!
i started studying this for a class on program development and management and, despite the low ratings, my recommendation to Fox would be to keep AD, it appears to have a VERY solid fan base that will keep growing! Good luck!
This is the funniest show on TV, and one that I can watch over and over for the countless nuances and subtle jokes I missed before. We NEED shows like this on TV. Sure, reality TV may be cheap to make and gets big ratings, but those shows don't have the long-term potential of a show like AD. It deserves a long and successful run, and I hope it gets the future it deserves.
Leave it to FOX......Arrested Development is fresh, chaotic and hella funny...........andso they decide to pull the plug? Keep it....you've got a good thing going.
Smartest and funniest show EVER! You really think you should cancel this? I mean, have you SEEN some of the crap they put on the air? Oh, you have? hahaha. Anyway, this is the wittiest, funniest stuff I've seen in YEARS! The fact that there is no laugh track gives it an extra gold star in my book. Please keep the show!
This is definitely the best new show of the season. To see it get cancelled would be extremely dissappointing. We could use more shows like this to offset the ridiculous amounts of Reality TV; stuff like The Swan and The Littlest Groom won't stay in our minds beyond this season, but AD will and deserves a chance.
Arrested Development is the best show to come out of the 2003-2004 season. Please don't let this well-written, excellently casted and ground-breaking show fade into the background!
Cancelling AD would be eaqual to dumping Cheers or Sienfeld after the first year. Character driven shows like this take longer to develop but last longer. Plus FOX don't you want SOMETHING of quality to point to when people mock your schedule of reality dreck? 24 and the Simpsons can't do it alone. Give AD a 2 year pick up and show that you have some guts (and standards).
PLEASE give us something to watch on network television - every show that has nothing to do with insipid reality TV gets canned. Learn from your mistke with Wonderfalls.
This show must be continued. It's hilarious and the most original "sit-com" on TV. Move it to another night - there's too much competition on Sunday night.
What a show! With better publicity, it would have more viewers. It is listed in my paper as Arrested. I didn't watch it until I read some reviews in the paper. Wish I hadn't missed so many episodes.
With Friends and Frasier disappearing, and Raymond on its way out, this show just needs a little nurturing to be recognized by everyonefor what it already is--the funniest show EVER!
This is a great show but you have to put it in a better timeslot. You are killing it by not giving it a proper audience. Put it on Monday night. There is no competition. Once people watch a few episodes, they will be hooked.
Clever. Silly. Simply delightful. I watch every episode twice - you have to pay attention to EVERYTHING - the music, their clothes, the background, the dialogue...... If they do cancel this show I hope FOX at least has the decency to release it in DVD.
This show is great. I haven't laughed this hard at a TV show since the heyday of Seinfeld. Fox, stick with Arrested Development and who knows where it will go.
