This show must continue. AD is purely the greatest and funniest, most original sitcom ever. If it ends I don't know what I would do with myself - Nothing else to live for. Please don't kill me! And please don't kill it. If you tried a slightly earlier time slot you would see ratings skyrocket. Some people give up on watching TV at earlier hours. Many have just not been exposed to this show yet.
Please give this a chance. It is the best thing on television, from plot, to character development, to humor, to pathos, it has it all. Please leave it alone. Please.
Maybe one of the reasons for the low ratings is that many viewers, like me, are afraid to watch shows on Fox knowing they will probably be cancelled before given a proper chance. Every time I get sucked in, they cancel. If this one goes I'm boycotting Fox!! PS - it needs a better time slot (or a rerun later in the week)
This truly disfunctional family is what keeps me tuned in every week. You never know who's going to be dancing in a cage or getting into other freakishly bizzare scenes and situations. This is a great show, and it should be around for ages!
This is one of the most unique and entertaining shows on TV. It is ABC's Alias equivelent, a critically aclaimed show that hasn't done as well as one would expect in the ratings. Be like ABC and give Arrested Development another year to grow. It is the least you could do for us,the viewers, considering how many weird and wacky reality shows you try feeding us. Arrested Development is fine dining. The majority of your reality shows are fast food.
Good enough to be on HBO for sure...
if we could just get andy richter controls the universe back on Sundays we could have the nest night of television ever!
It's one of the most entertaining shows on TV! Why do they always cancel the good ones and fill the airwaves with garbage? Are they TRYING to send people away from public television?
Please, do not pull this show. It will be almost as bad as pulling the Ben Stiller show. AD may be a little ahead of it's time, but hang in there with it!
Have to give A.D. a chance, keep it in a regular time slot, and PROMOTE it! You just can't kill the most cynical, witty, wickedly dysfunctional portrait of family life to be seen on T.V. in years.
What an amazing show. I talk about it to everyone who loves good tv. It needs time to find its audience, but this could become another signature show for FOX. Keep it on!!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't KILL this show. Its the way that I reset my week. I can't go to work on Monday till I laugh my ass off Sunday. You should give it another change and I see that you gave it a year and Look at all the publisity it is getting. Just one more year please!!! you will forever be the best network EVER if you keep it.
I think the only people NOT watching this show are the "Neilson Families" and the Leno-watching types and old people. I assure you, Advertisers, the Big Spenders are watching this show.
cancelling this show would be the most horrific thing that could happen to TV. there is little out there in tv land that is as witty as AD - this is what quality tv is supposed to be all about.
I just recenlty found out that AD was a ratings challenged show. All my friends and I love it and watch it. Keep it on, Please. I love to laugh and it is the only show to do it for me this season.
This is one of the greatest shows of all time, up there with Seinfeld. Don't let it turn out like Freaks and Geeks and cancel it before it even hits it's prime. Seinfeld sucked it's first season.. AD was awesome it's first season. What does that mean? It is going to get even better. I can't wait.
If AD is cancelled, then my way of life has been destroyed ... and the terrorists have one!
Seriousy though, how many runaway successes (Cheers, Friends) started out as rating losers their first years, only to finally achieve unbelievable numbers later? THINK ABOUT THE SYNDICATION REVENUES FOX! This is an instant cult classic destined to redefine an entire genre.
This show is too funny to cancel. Show's of this quality need to be encouraged. If there's room on TV for dribble like According to Jim, there's got to be room for AD.
This is a truly hilarious show that can grow a solid fan base with the great character development. I think by keeping it in the same time slot, possibly even directly after the simpsons, will only allow for greater popularity of this wonderful show.
There's absolutely nothing like this on television right now. I tune in faithfully and I'm getting some of my friends hooked. Please keep it around. There are viewers out there who will find it if you give them time!
Every character is amazing and hilarious. This is by far funnier than any of the other sitcoms that stay on the air when they shouldn't. If FOX cancels this show, I would love to see it picked up by another network and get more publicity.
