This is the best show on television today. PLEASE give it another season. You know, Friends didn't do very well its' first season either. AD definitely grows on you, so give it a chance. We love it!
I think the shows are great when our cable company has carried it. For some reason, it hasn't been shown when scheduled or reception has been terrible for some shows.
Cuff it & keep it. "Arrested" needs a chance to find its niche. A bonafide gem a la "Action" whose brisk pace and dynamic characters ought not relegate it to the "also-rans" just because some viewers aren't up to the challenge. Thank you for recognizing the need for such smart writing--I hunger for shows with such panache and would love for Fox to continue in this vein!
This is just another example of televisions philosophy that if you don't put out a show that appeals to the lowest common denominator and gets huge ratings at the outset, then the plug gets pulled.
If shows like Cheers tried to air their first few episodes in todays TV climate, it would be scrapped, never having the chance to develop into one of the greatest sitcoms ever!
If this show is NOT renewed, I will never watch another FOX program again! This is, without question, the best show on TV! C'mon, it was even up for an Emmy! Keep the show!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everyone who sees this show LOVES it! The only reason the ratings are low is that FOX does little to promote it, and it has a lousy time slot against Sopranos and Alias. KEEP THE SHOW, and give it the time slot and marketing it deserves!!!! It's hilarious!
Networks are way to impatient today. They don't give new shows enough time to find their audience. In the current climate, shows like Cheers and Sinefeld would never make it past the first season. They succeeded because someone at the network gambled that it would catch on and they won big. This is that type of show. Come on Fox, take a chance! This is a great show. Let people find it.
This show is better than seinfeld...please don't cancel it because it's a smart, well-written comedy...If the dvd's came out today, I'd buy them immediately, its that good!
This is by far and away the most intellegent show on TV. Truly innventive and fresh; it is reminiscent of A Christopher Guest creation! It is my insanely theraputic reward before the new work week! I personally think the time slot is perfect too, but I would find a way to watch it no matter the day or time.
This is one of the better sitcoms to come along in the past few years. The usual married-with-kids or single-and-complaining formulas are so overused. It's nice to see something different.
With the loss of Frasier and Friends and other hits by other networks, I feel more people will tune in to watch the second season. Jason Batemans got his comedic timing down perfect and there should obviously be trust in Ron Howard. Maybe move to Th.
Don't lose the opportunity to fill and "ensemble comedy" void that will be painfully apparent at the end of this year. This show is smart -- smartly written and acted for smart people. Don't forget that some of us watching TV need and deserve more than bachelors, survivors, talent-deprived star gazers and people who will eat slime and perform ridiculous stunts. SOSP! Save our Smart Programs!!!
One of the best programs on television. The Fox TV Network has to get it's priorities straight ! Get rid of "American Idol" and "The Swan".
Keep quality shows and get rid of the crap !
I like the idea of a sitcom, but never the execution. Arrested Development is one of the few sitcoms that doesn't suck - but maybe it's just too clever for FOX.
